  • Abstract: In the past five years, MeerKAT has found 11 new pulsars in the bulge globular cluster known as Terzan 5, bringing the total in Terzan 5 to 49, the most of any cluster. The amazing thing, though, is that we have been able to determine timing solutions for all of them using 20 years of archival GBT data on the cluster. Being able to determine "instant" decades-long timing solutions allows us to measure NS masses via relativistic effects, proper motions, slow changes in dispersion measure, and varying orbital properties of "spider" pulsars, all of which usually require many years of dedicated timing observations post-discovery.
