Godfather 1 was so ahead of it's time i want customizable safehouses like scarface. where you could pimp out your house with props and decor also to be able to sell drugs on the streets like scarface.
a lot of the magic of unrecord is in the camera haze and positioning. there's a lot of amateur graphics mistakes and limitations you can notice in it, but what really sells it is the believable body rig and gun position. it's very un-game like and causes you to suspend disbelief and tune out the graphics mistakes making it appear extremely realistic. if you remove it, it becomes fairly obvious it's a game made in unreal. it's got high quality textures, but a lot of the environments are photo scans without proper topography mapping and it uses stock screen space reflections instead of ray traced reflections or interior scanned screen spaces.
Remember these are the same turds who consistently fucked up their main protagonists made a masterpiece absolute masterpiece of a game and said fuck it 2 years later. Red dead two Johns story cut his lines fuck up his character LOWER THE GRAPHICS FOR ONLINE PERFORMANCE and then when the cashcow makes more just goes

I really hope all these "leaks" turn out to be true. Rockstar, while being an little greedy over the last few years, is easily one of my favorite storytellers in gaming. The Robbing houses minigame in San Andreas blew my mind at the time. You could break into pretty much every house and they had an interior. It wasnt super detailed but was really cool.

The Robbing houses minigame in San Andreas blew my mind at the time. You could break into pretty much every house and they had an interior. It wasnt super detailed but was really cool.
