Instead of making a large (high above their head) wig heavy by filling the empty space with foam and support, they create an illusion by putting a pillow between it and their real hair. That space is covered so it looks like the entire thing is a wig. That is my understanding at least

The head looks great...but feels off in a way i cant describe but still looks good. But the middle door opening is AMAZING. Whoever thought of and designed this whole costume was a genious on making the middle a door that opens up to the room and it al.ost feels 3d and it open through you like in the movies, that is awsome!

I wonder if one could use some helium balloons in the train? A net of partially filled balloons might float the train enough to relieve some of the weight and still stay close to the ground... Hypothetically speaking. Now I want to try it! Lol

I have had to go to the repair area a couple of times before but I usually was carrying what ever repair Items i needed because of the test drive phase. It allowed me to test drive some weight bearing stitches and its just fun! I have really bad social anxiety when i am in street clothes, but cosplay? I WANT all eyes on me..... hmmmmm maybe I should cosplay when I go to get groceries.....
the whole in the skirt is easily fixed. Sew in some fabric on the back and then sew in a faux fur "plug". Any Fur suit video can show you how to do a fur patch.

Have you ever worn any of those cartoon costumes with the headpiece? That is not for convention wearing. You can't breathe more than a few minutes at a time when wearing those.
