Mario Power Tennis will forever be the best one. Every character's signature attacks made it much more fun and unique.

bartdude82 It's more like Brawl. Mario Tennis Open is like Melee. I like playing fast and competitively, and MTO is much better. Mario Power Tennis is like Brawl--more fun to play casually. Ultra Smash will be better in both aspects, like smash 4.

Everyone wanted a new Paper Mario game itself
Dream team came out last and sticker star was sub par.
The E3 was okay, and the in-between stuff was funny. Last year was my first Nintendo E3, and since last year was WAY more hype, it's just natural for me to compare the two. No Pokémon announcement was pretty disappointing though.

I still say that Mario Tennis Aces was being developed all along, but its production was shifted from Wii U to Switch. Be then the basic template for that game was converted into Ultra Smash at the last second for the sake of having something on the Wii U for the holidays that year, and then that template was used for Mario Tennis Aces, which is what Camelot wanted this game to be all along.

I mean, I don't think Nintendo's E3 digital event was all that spectacular, but there's just people constantly bitching and complaining, just an over reaction from a bunch of nerd babies who won't ever be pleased. Falgor Actually I do. He's their mascot after all. But it's not the only franchise Nintendo works on. We're getting a new Star Fox, not just a new 3DS Zelda but a console one down the line.
The only reason we didn't get to see Pokemon, Donkey Kong, and Kirby is because Pokemon does it's own thing, and both DK & Kirby already had new games come out recently.
Looks decent, but I need more footage until I can say anything more. Although I do have to say that I would rather want a new Mario Strikers.

Luigi's mansion 3 will probably be out in about 10 years tops, they had a really big break from Luigis mansion to the sequel, but maybe we will get lucky, and nintendo can redeem themselves for making Mario is missing.
Brendan Hughes Haha. I just found out that "Next Level Games" developed that dumb new Metroid game. They are the company that made "Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon", so unless they have another team working on other projects, it doesn't seem likely that "Luigi's Mansion 3" is in the works. If there were to be a third installment, I don't think it would take ten years, considering "Next Level Games" picked up the franchise.

To be perfectly honest tho, I've wanted a Mario Tennis game to come to Wii U.
And I would like to see Next Level Games release a Mario Strikers game for the Wii U (like the past two iterations on GameCube and Wii).

I know some people are gonna be upset that a Mario Strikers game isn't coming to the Wii U, but this game doesn't seem as bad as some people make it out to be. So far, it looks pretty good. I just wish there was more to show off though. :\
EDIT: The hate for this game is really unwarranted. Nothing about this game looks bad per say, but it doesn't show a lot, so it looks meh right now. Plus, I know people wanted a Mario Strikers game (I did too), but Next Level Games was actually working on the "Metroid" game.
Don't get angry at this game because there wasn't Mario Strikers (Mario Tennis wasn't made by Next Level Games). Get upset at Next Level Games for making the Metroid game instead of Mario Strikers.

About damn time we get a Mario Sports game on the Wii U. Mario Golf on 3DS was fun, so I hope this takes a lot of that and brings it into this.

So you mean to tell me that Camelot Software Planning Finished that dumb 3DS Mario Tennis game, thought about their franchises, looked at Golden Sun, saw that it ended in a cliffhanger and hasn't had a resolution for five years, and decided that Wii U needed a Mario Tennis game more than the world needed another damn Golden Sun game. decision making 10/10

What's new in this one? Most likely Motion Plus controls, new items, HD graphics. Madden and NBA 2K come out every year with very few changes. This new Mario Tennis gets the face lift it deserves. Looks fun! :)

It's really looking like Nintendo isn't interested in making games for the Wii U anymore after this. We finally get a new Metroid game but it's on 3DS? We want a new CONSOLE metroid. Mario Tennis was the only new game announced on the Wii U and that is just sad. All I can think about now is the fact that there is only 2 games that I will be buying for my Wii U in the next year. Star Fox and Mario Maker. I know there is Wooly World but that doesn't interest me. It's obvious that they are putting their focus in NX games. I'm afraid Zelda Wii U won't even end up being released on the Wii U.

A console Mario sports game, surprisingly hasn't happened in a very long time. I've always loved this franchise, and I hope it has online VS and some sort of campaign!

Monkey D. Luffy Someone had a really well-thought explanation on why they did another Mario Tennis game: The last one failed a lot. They needed to make another one, a good one, to save them financially speaking.
Also, they absolutely can't make an open world Golden Sun for Wii U. If you think Xenoblade Chronicles, forget it, it'll most probably never be a thing. :(

cynda wu Yeah, I'm pretty sure the metroid fans are venting their anger onto the other games, because reasons. I get that they're disappointed, and I totally think it's justified that they are, but they should leave the other games alone and judge them for what they are worth individually.

Literally just a test area to say they're working on it, as if they started this a month ago, and the only new thing shown off is you grow big... whoop-dee-doo. Trying to make their Wii U catalogue look bigger even though this is far off.
