    Similar to the Legend of Korra and other mature shows, this show in particular wasn't afraid to show and/imply horrifying deaths.

      yeah ! TMNT has more death on first glance. Peter Laird was in control for the script, plot and character design. On the other hand, Avatar even though on Nickelodeon was adult oriented show. Both are over 20 years ago.

      ​@@KillerLofi Avatar the Last Airbender is about to be 20 years old in a few months. And there's also Harry Potter, where characters either die in gruesome ways and have a lot of violence.

      It's alternate reality considering Fast Forward Season. It could very well be real in the current timeline if it ends in Season 5 Ninja Tribunal

    At that’s why I didn’t watch this version of the turtles until years later and it’s supposed to be a kids show
