    As an American it makes me want to come over and get hurt just to get compassion from the medical community. When i saw the nurse actually wipe sweat from the man's head was touching. I had brain surgery and had blood on my face and neck for 4 days until a friend's wife wiped it off for me.

      I think our care in most hospitals is terrible here in the USA.. speaking for Calif, more about the money than they do the nurses and the doctors.

      I'm so sorry that happened to you. I totally understand! In 2011 I had a fusion in my back. The doctor cut the sack that holds your spinal fluid and I contracted MRSA from a nurse who didn't wash her hands after just leaving the room of a MRSA patient. I came in by ambulance because I couldn't move. I've seen people treat dogs better than I was treated. That's when I lost a lot of respect for nurses

    I like watching this show, because last year, I fell from a tall ladder at home, and sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury, brain bleeding, broken skull and ribs and punctured lung, and medical staff at 3 hospitals saved my life, and rehabilitated me. Please consider wearing a bicycle helmet if you get on a ladder! You may feel stupid while wearing it, but you'll know it's a smart decision, as you protect your brain, a pretty important organ, and possibly your life.

    It's wonderful to see a fully staffed hospital! Here in the US, nurses are routinely asked to care for far more patients than is safe, or even legal. Not after some mass injury situation, either; routinely, day after day. Healthcare for profit is CREATING the burnout that's driving people out of a profession they love.

    • @kerribestwick
      @kerribestwick 9 месяцев назад +4

      I would say 90% of ER,s do triage through a window at least at first, mostly due to safety reasons. Triage nurses are specifically trained to look at a patient and assess their signs and symptoms and tell if they are a true emergency or not.

  • @tigress63
    @tigress63 10 месяцев назад +5

    Working in a hospital, I rarely see any of the female staff with their long hair loose like the first doctor, as clinicians frequently must stoop over patients so hair can get on to the patient. One should be concerned regarding any clinician that can't even comb their hair. If they can't be bothered to comb their hair and pin it back for the shift, then what other shortcuts like potentially not washing their hands and other things are they slack on?
