I did the exact same thing to my CJM pump to accommodate a -8 return. 💪 I have a used axles if you need one, hmu.

@@GregoryBrettin I’m glad I’m not the only one. I felt kind of guilty grinding down something so new and pretty. And once I’m finally able to see the problem I def will hit you up! I have shoulder surgery on Tuesday so I’ll be out of commission for a bit.

You're buying stuff you dont need. For example, the surge can / canister. Take a step back and consult a reputible hot rodder. The stock 370z returnless fuel lines will support 750 whp na on ls engine. Now you have a fuel pump thats way, way to big and your going to heat up your fuel. One advantage of a returnless system. Also, what looks like your oil cooler / oil filter relocation lines are crossing over to the passenger side. This is a no-go. Keep them as straight as possible to the left front tire. The battery you picked out is way too much for the car. Not needed unless you plan on running 25 laps without an alternator. The battery relocation kit is junk. Looks chromplated or stainless. Plated is bad because of anod cathode properties and will flake off and stainless is going to eventualy cause rust on the ground I.E the chassis, stick with cooper .I could go on. Nice video. I did give you a thumbs up. Not picking on you, and not being a keyboard warrior. Just see a lot of moneys spent on eye candy that could go into suspension or engine mods.

@@invasivecoyote1361 thanks for the advice and I appreciate the support! The 370z is notorious for fuel starvation on hard, sweeping right hand turns, which is why I got the surge canister. The fuel return system is a remnant from my old built motor twin turbo setup. The new pump is larger because I wanted to simplify my setup (I had 2 pumps before) and also wanted something big enough for any future power adders I may want in the future.
As far as the terminals for the battery relocation, those are tin plated copper. No chrome or steel. Bare copper corrodes very quickly compared to tin plated lugs.
I agree with you on the oil filter/thermostat lines though. I couldn’t find a solid place to mount it before as it was still in the building phase and I wasn’t sure where it would fit properly. I’m not a fan of where it is now for a few reasons but I’ll likely move that in a future revision.
Again, I appreciate your advice on things. I’m surely not perfect, just a regular guy who likes to tinker on cars!
