I love when people do this! As a person with curly hair, I watch a lot of curly hair videos and I always see comments where people say "Oh, you didn't even need products" or "That's too many products". People don't really realize that our hair usually looks best when it's wet and we apply products for moisture and definition. There's nothing wrong with applying no product, but most of us need it. I have personally tried applying nothing - my hair was nice and big, but it was really dull and thirsty, so I KNOW I need products. You guys look amazing with or without products! 💕

First of all you ladies are gorgeous! Products provide moisture, definition, shine so all those people that comment that you don't need product can have several seats. I can see how healthy your hair is without product but like Lorianne says "not trying to go bald for the tube" lol. The next morning i was cracking up this was fun. I do think that there comes a point when your hair is so healthy (which y'alls hair definitely is) that the results you get generally become consistent. When you still have damage the hunt for products to tame the frizz is super tough! But regardless all curly hair needs moisture and/or hold for sure😊thanks for the video ladies, definitely proves that curly hair DOES NOT make itself

Absolutely products help keep hair moisturized and less tangled. Products help “clump” and define our curls because frizz most definitely works against our “healthy” hair. Frizz leads to breakage, fairy knots, it dreads our hair. Soooo, to make a long story short, products are necessary for our hair. 😊🤓🦁💕➰

I believe you both need product I just believe that no matter what products YOU two use your hair looks fabulous. You both take great care of your hair and it shows. Products emphasize what you already have and you both have nice hair. Your hair can’t do what it is not meant to do and your hair is meant to have curls and definition behind the fact that you both take care of your hair and you both have nice curl patterns which needs moisture and shine and product is what brings that out..Both of you look great with no products but products will emphasize the great curl patterns you already have and lock in moisture. There are no miracles in a hair product and lots of ppl watching believe that if they use what YOU use they will get the same results. That is what hair product companies count on. I know you both would agree that Ppl have to learn THEIR hair and not run out and buy everything they see being used on social media. Anyway you two know your hair better than anyone. We are watching on the tube and can’t touch it or see it up close and personal so we just have to accept what we are seeing from where we sit. We got it! Just because you ladies have a looser curl pattern doesn’t mean you don’t need product. Thank you for sharing this... I think people need to understand that it’s not just about the curl pattern/ hair texture it about the over all preservation of the hair. In order for the hair to not be dry and brittle which would result in damage and breaking...some products are necessary. I said we get it at the beginning of this response because I think the point was made very quickly at the beginning of the video. What’s crazy is people are still going to feel some kinda way. I have 4a -4b hair if I let my hair air dry the front of my hair will look like cotton! And it will be SUPer dry. Not manageable at all! Trying to shape dry hair is pointless it just created more and more frizz! You ladies are doing a great job and your positive vibes are much appreciated. Wow no way!!! I hope y’all filmed the fix it video for the aftermath of this because that would be great too. I’m amazed people actually think you don’t need products and actually I am impressed by the grace and the way y’all present it with no shade. Love that u took on the challenge anyway. I know you’re not porosity people but I really think people commenting like that, it may play a part. Some products you use may overlap and definitely the dedication to routine and taking care of your hair is knowledge enough, my daughter is low porosity in a high humidity mid-high dew point climate and I can not use all that you do and I have to take many different steps in the routine but I take away the knowledge of the hair care, the great personalities, my daughter loves Taylor now (I’m rooted.in.purpose on IG I already shared this with her) but because she loves watching Taylor she cares about her hair now and is more willing for me to sit with her and spend the proper time on it. There’s so much to benefit from but we as followers need to be smart and take away what we can use on us, and do our own research and try these products as well as I have already heard Lori and Taylor state many times and if anything because you two have different hair and both maintain it well companies should be dying for you to feature their products because you showcase them so well!!!

Second day hair though 👀😂. I love that y'all did this. I do this for two or three days about every two months. Just to let my hair "breath" but I make sure that I won't have to leave my land those two days and I braid my hair in two French braids at night instead of putting it up in a pineapple. My hair looks like Tayloranne's. Only that my looser curls are from my crown to the front and my tighter (3C) are from the crown down, lol.

this is exactly what my hair looks like sometimes when I wash it at night and go to bed without putting anything on it because I didn't have time to wait for it to dry with products!!!! then I wet it completely the next day and add my stylers! the "no product needed' comments were probably from people with bone straight hair and doesn't get it!!!! even relaxed hair needs some sort of products to keep it tame! thank you for doing this video!!!

I was cracking up when Lorianne said the oils were going to moisturize the strands. Lori going to be waiting a very long time for the scalp oils. I did notice that the areas that were not highlighted or had very few highlights had more curl definition. I have left CR Algae Renew Conditioner in my hair for a week because I was too lazy to style it, that actually wasn't that bad, my hair was soft for like 5 days, while in the twists.

Dominio Effect OK, let’s take these questions one by one. 1. Which leave in? The Fresh Curls or the Curl Love? Or is there another one? We used the Curl Love with UFD gel in our very first MIX IT UP. Let us know 😊 2. As far as we know the Creme Restore is a CoWash and that’s all we have ever used it for. It’s very creamy and lovely but we never even thought about using it for anything other than it’s intended purpose of cleaning the hair. 3. TaylorAnne loves the No Poo and I love the Low Poo. Haha! Isn’t that awful. Now you have to decide. 🤣 4. We have 2 JC Curls to go videos on our channel. That was our very first video ever made on this channel and then we did another one on that same line after about a year because we were so much more knowledgeable. But, I keep telling TaylorAnne I want to do the yellow line. Not so much as a comparison but there are 2 products that give me a fabulous Wash and Go that I want you guys to see. But we do have a video on the entire “yellow line” as well. We have just never did a comparison because as we explain in the “yellow line” video both lines are so completely opposite there are no fair comparisons in each one. They really stand alone. Does NOT look bad, but boy will it break if left to its own devices! I still have fairy knots from a wash day two weeks ago when my friends were over and I didn't have a chance to put any product in my high porosity hair or detangle and braid. Breakage and fairy knot city! I had a real-time demonstration of how dryness leads to breakage, within hours!

I do think that there comes a point when your hair is so healthy (which y'alls hair definitely is) that the results you get generally become consistent. When you still have damage the hunt for products to tame the frizz is super tough! I believe you both need product I just believe that no matter what products YOU two use your hair looks fabulous. You both take great care of your hair and it shows. Products emphasize what you already have and you both have nice hair. Your hair can’t do what it is not meant to do and your hair is meant to have curls and definition behind the fact that you both take care of your hair and you both have nice curl patterns which needs moisture and shine and product is what brings that out..Both of you look great with no products but products will emphasize the great curl patterns you already have and lock in moisture. There are no miracles in a hair product and lots of ppl watching believe that if they use what YOU use they will get the same results. That is what hair product companies count on. I know you both would agree that Ppl have to learn THEIR hair and not run out and buy everything they see being used on social media. Anyway you two know your hair better than anyone. We are watching on the tube and can’t touch it or see it up close and personal so we just have to accept what we are seeing from where we sit. We got it! Just because you ladies have a looser curl pattern doesn’t mean you don’t need product. Thank you for sharing this... I think people need to understand that it’s not just about the curl pattern/ hair texture it about the over all preservation of the hair. In order for the hair to not be dry and brittle which would result in damage and breaking...some products are necessary. I said we get it at the beginning of this response because I think the point was made very quickly at the beginning of the video. What’s crazy is people are still going to feel some kinda way. I have 4a -4b hair if I let my hair air dry the front of my hair will look like cotton! And it will be SUPer dry. Not manageable at all! Trying to shape dry hair is pointless it just created more and more frizz! You ladies are doing a great job and your positive vibes are much appreciated. I don’t have your same hair texture yet I love watching your videos. Keep up the great content.

Wow no way!!! I hope y’all filmed the fix it video for the aftermath of this because that would be great too. I’m amazed people actually think you don’t need products and actually I am impressed by the grace and the way y’all present it with no shade. Love that u took on the challenge anyway. I know you’re not porosity people but I really think people commenting like that, it may play a part. Some products you use may overlap and definitely the dedication to routine and taking care of your hair is knowledge enough, my daughter is low porosity in a high humidity mid-high dew point climate and I can not use all that you do and I have to take many different steps in the routine but I take away the knowledge of the hair care, the great personalities, my daughter loves Taylor now (I’m rooted.in.purpose on IG I already shared this with her) but because she loves watching Taylor she cares about her hair now and is more willing for me to sit with her and spend the proper time on it. There’s so much to benefit from but we as followers need to be smart and take away what we can use on us, and do our own research and try these products as well as I have already heard Lori and Taylor state many times and if anything because you two have different hair and both maintain it well companies should be dying for you to feature their products because you showcase them so well!!!

Second day hair though 👀😂. I love that y'all did this. I do this for two or three days about every two months. Just to let my hair "breath" but I make sure that I won't have to leave my land those two days and I braid my hair in two French braids at night instead of putting it up in a pineapple. My hair looks like Tayloranne's. Only that my looser curls are from my crown to the front and my tighter (3C) are from the crown down, lol.

The bleaching process is very harsh and could possibly cause irreparable damage if not done by someone who knows what they are doing. this is exactly what my hair looks like sometimes when I wash it at night and go to bed without putting anything on it because I didn't have time to wait for it to dry with products!!!! then I wet it completely the next day and add my stylers! the "no product needed' comments were probably from people with bone straight hair and doesn't get it!!!! even relaxed hair needs some sort of products to keep it tame! thank you for doing this video!!!

I was cracking up when Lorianne said the oils were going to moisturize the strands. Lori going to be waiting a very long time for the scalp oils. I did notice that the areas that were not highlighted or had very few highlights had more curl definition. I have left CR Algae Renew Conditioner in my hair for a week because I was too lazy to style it, that actually wasn't that bad, my hair was soft for like 5 days, while in the twists.

Dominio Effect OK, let’s take these questions one by one. 1. Which leave in? The Fresh Curls or the Curl Love? Or is there another one? We used the Curl Love with UFD gel in our very first MIX IT UP. Let us know 😊 2. As far as we know the Creme Restore is a CoWash and that’s all we have ever used it for. It’s very creamy and lovely but we never even thought about using it for anything other than it’s intended purpose of cleaning the hair. 3. TaylorAnne loves the No Poo and I love the Low Poo. Haha! Isn’t that awful. Now you have to decide. 🤣 4. We have 2 JC Curls to go videos on our channel. That was our very first video ever made on this channel and then we did another one on that same line after about a year because we were so much more knowledgeable. But, I keep telling TaylorAnne I want to do the yellow line. Not so much as a comparison but there are 2 products that give me a fabulous Wash and Go that I want you guys to see. But we do have a video on the entire “yellow line” as well. We have just never did a comparison because as we explain in the “yellow line” video both lines are so completely opposite there are no fair comparisons in each one. They really stand alone. Does NOT look bad, but boy will it break if left to its own devices! I still have fairy knots from a wash day two weeks ago when my friends were over and I didn't have a chance to put any product in my high porosity hair or detangle and braid. Breakage and fairy knot city! I had a real-time demonstration of how dryness leads to breakage, within hours!

Initially it looked ok, but it didn't last long. Thanks for keeping it real. Curly hair is naturally dry so we need products to maintain moisture. Back in the day I used to actually like rocking my hair like this with no product. It was mostly the lack of moisture and the tangles that was the problem. Your guys hair looks good either way in my opinion. Lol that day 2 hair though 😂
