How I got into anime was something that very few ppl do, I started with Dragon ball (every part), Naruto, boruto(130ish ep), one piece, vinland saga, berserk(manga) then many more and still watching
Death note was my first, glad I got into it. Another is a pretty good horror for those who want something with mystery and gore reminds me a bit of final destination
I think Death Note was a lot of people's first. Aside from Naruto and other shows I watched as a kid (Tokyo Mew Mew, anyone??), Death Note was the first anime that I intentionally watched!
If we're suggesting anime movies, I just checked one out the other day called Poupelle of Chimney Town. The background art is gorgeous and it's pretty captivating. I'd totally recommend that one. It's about this town that makes so much smoke it blacks out the sky, and this kid wants to see it and he gets help from a magic guy made out of garbage (yes)
I think Vinland saga is a good first reccomendation and is what got my friend into anime. I started wit( Naruto but that’s definitely not the best reccomendation. Also, angel beats is one of my favorite anime
i hope little witch academia 10 years anniversary exhibition will be come to taiwan too. I hereby Unto year, it was announced that Little Witch Academia had ordered a sequel series consisting of new adaptation animation. Akko can become a life size card board cutout iconic character of Trigger.
@@lukerreviews5233 The project to create a TV animated version of the heroic quest of the valiant prince ivandoe has begun. Later it will be Little Witch Academia’s turn to release new sequels and adaptations, and Prince Ivandor will also be adapted like Little Witch Academia.
I can see why you wouldn't suggest Re:Zero, but I would definitely argue that JJK is the definition of a starter anime, sort of how people considered Naruto or Soul Eater a starter anime back in the day. They're all very approchable, and don't require someone to be very "weeby", they also have a lot of well coordinated fights and don't require you to get super invested in the story to enjoy it. Even if you're not a JJK fan, I think it's popularity with normies is a clear showcase of it's approachableness. Madoka on the other hand is a psychological thriller, and while some might not consider that a horror, I personally would put them in similar enough categories to suggest to horror fans, especially with Anime not having a surplus of horror shows. Get Out is a really popular psych.thriller, which most would call a horror movie as well, so I think bundling them is fine
SPOILERS: So i got to vivy portion of your video and was excited to watch it. I must tell you it was a waste of time those 4ep i watched due to concepts in the show not making sense: 1) AI can't handle multiple tasks? Not only is it stupid in it of itself (computers not being brains, they can retain as much information as space on their drive), but then vivy goes ahead and learns martial arts? 2) Estella has smth that looked like tears in her eyes when elizabeth came back 3) estella needs help from elizabeth to walk after an explosion, she a robot bro, they are not disoriented by explosions and are far more able to take a hit. If her skin is still intact then her inner parts are good. So why is she limping? 4) so much DRAMA in episode 4, am i watching a show about AI or some people? Elizabeth was about to give a sob story befoe vivy atrackes her. Like, u a robot bro. 5) probably other problems but i can't remember them.
Ahh sorry that you weren't a fan of Vivy! I think a large proponent of the story is that despite being AI, a lot of them are developing emotions (such as Elizabeth) and that the tech is different from what we would have imagined it, but I can see why you weren't a fan. If you let me know some shows that you have enjoyed I'd be happy to give other suggestions ^_^

And it looks like the show doesn't have a focus on the subtle way robots start developing feelings ala I AM ROBOT, BICENTENNIAL MAN, AI ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. instead, elizabeth just has feelings out of the blue even changes clothes to look bad ass (strange decision from the creators). Can't bring myself to sit through the rest of the show. I am good on the recommendation side.
