HJC is the best but visor is pure shit - it should be 100% transparent or dark. Also my face is reflecting in it and it's super annoying to see xD I gave up and ride with regular cycling glasses
@@ronykuba I mean how do you feel the fit for the MET helmet? Too tight, too loose, or ture to the size? I am between size of M and L. Wondering if I should go with Large or Medium. Thanks again for the reply.
Another great video. Without being able to do aero testing, I opted for the Kask Mistral personally. When I was looking I originally wanted to get the MET Drone, but couldn't find a CPSC (USA) version.
Giro aero head for me when I ride a TT, purely because on two occasions a giro helmet has saved me from serious injury. Got literally driven into last year and hit a cat in 2016. So I’m loyal to them!
@@___Bebo___ Um thanks for the advice. Not much you can do when one runs out of long grass… Same with the car, lady just decided to turn in on me, I looked like a frickin power ranger in bright green too 🤣
@@___Bebo___ what does that have anything to do with what I have said? Nobody is riding “not looking at the road”. Accidents can happen regardless of what type of bike (vehicle) you’re on. Animals do jump out erratically sometimes, often in the last moment when there’s not much you can do. Obviously you’re impervious to all that, but regular humans are not all-seeing all-knowing and omnipresent. We can even crash, despite “having balance”, so we need helmets too.
awesome Video got my hands on a Redeemer... cool and fast. also own a TT5, but with the Redeemer, it has become obsolete -so I'm wearing it for track sprinting 🙂
@@ronykuba Thanks for the reply. I have another question if you don't mind. Does the MET Drone size Large typically test faster than the MET Drone size Medium on people that have tested both sizes? My theory is that the size Large is more aero because it can direct more air around the shoulders, which is why I'm leaning towards that helmet (I can fit in both), but I'm only guessing and would love your input
Have you ever attached little magnets to the underside of your helmet and skinsuit to keep the helmet flush against your back? I believe this is UCI legal now.
I have the HJC ad watt. I’ve haven’t been aero tested, but it’s very light and comfortable. I found the giro much too heavy and uncomfortable
Quite a popular choice, but we don’t have much data on it

@@ronykuba I know but my eyes is very sensitive and I need better UV/bright protection.
Great video. Skinsuits next please!
Thanks for the comment 👍
Wonder if the sweet protection would work well for triathlon where typically you have to keep your head up to follow the race course and pass people
Yes, it would with a good position.
Fantastic review. Thanks for putting this out. Choosing between these helmets is a nightmare they're all great! ❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
thx for the video. How is the fit for MET Drone?
What do you mean?

@ I can fit both sizes without issues, just like with most helmets. We choose the size based on the test results.

People who aren’t athletic, you mean for example like those in Grand Tours?
It’s a decent choice, but usually not a top performer in my experience.

My recent testing: Redeemer slowest, KASK Mistral much faster, POC Tempor tiny bit faster than Mistral
Nice 👌
Hi Ronald, have you tested the Uvex Race 8?
Not yet. I have had one on pre-order since 2022, never arrived.

It won’t be available for sale until next year.

Yes it seems to be slightly different
It has a more pointed tail i think. It fits great only judged by vision
