Even though their careers together were short lasted, The Calling's music has had a lasting affect on our generation. There are very few artists with the heart and talent that Alex Band has. At least he's still making music.

2 years ago my girlfriend passed away from cancer in hospital after 18 months of battling. I was away the day she died and I regret it to this day. I played this song at her funeral as I feel it captured the exact emotions I was going through. Helped me through some tough days
Same happened with my mom. I was there though but when I heard this song first time I remembered every moment. I read also the singer lost his mom because of a cancer. I'm so sorry for your lost, homie.
