    Hello. I saw your reddit post from 6 months, and I wanted to ask some questions about your CRNA career in the Air Force, but the post was archived. I hope you don't mind me asking here:
    You said you served three years and then separated. I know that the minimum Active Duty requirement is 3 years, but I'm curious about what it's like being on ready reserve. Do you know if reserve CRNAs get deployed a lot in the AF? Is it safe to take a full-time job as a CRNA while on reserve, or do you have to play it safe and work part-time just in case you get deployed? How does the 8-year commitment factor into life after active duty? I appreciate you sharing your experiences!

      Great questions. So it is IRR. Inactive Ready reserve. I am not like a reservist. It would take A LOT (of which I won't even speak) for me to ever be needed again. I am way different than other reservists.
