Gracias! Watching your video convinced me to purchase the Quantum Stylist mostly because you were engaging, humorous, and you explained very well using visuals and music. I will definitely watch more of your vids and learn from you (as well as get inspired). Thank you :)
I love it! I’m looking for a new machine and you’ve convinced me this is the machine for me! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Oh, and I love your dress!
"Singeeeeeerrrrrr" Lydia~ it's a good thing I was ALREADY sitting on the floor while watching this, because I would have fallen and LANDED on the floor after laughing so hard about the "explanation" of the "Singer" joke, and even harder that I DIDN'T GET IT the first time LMAO 🤣 In my defense, I'm already accustomed to your quirky personality and your blessing of that beautiful singing voice, which frequently gets manipulated into the most comical form of song EVER lol Very happy to see the degree of your old skool comical personality is kicked up several notches to what I got to know you as when I first started watching your channel... that tells me you are TRULY excited and happy!!! Love it!!! That sewing machine looks NEXT LEVEL! And LOVE the new dress... it looks classic, yet so unique and unheard of, like something I've never seen before that you couldn't find anywhere else, yet could still "seamlessly" incorporate into any traditional wardrobe... MY TURN to throw in an absolutely TERRIBLE sewing joke, worthy of being crowned as the queen of dad joke's... LMAOOOOO 🤣 Keep up the AH-MAY-ZING work Lydia! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
love it and love your way of talking and explaining step by step love you you are so pretty and kind sweet heart thank you for all videos that you are doing with full fulfillment
Am going to start sewing and i watched your video about picking a machine and went for this one as well. Thankfully i got a good deal for it on Craigslist because it was bit a pricey to buy it brand new.
@@LydiaNaomi it's the only machine I've use besides the Bernina I learned the basics on. I like this one way more than that one mostly because I can adjust the speed. I was looking for something that was similar to the Bernina in the design and in how you thread it and this was fit the bill perfectly. The Bernina was a mechanical one but since ive never used a sewing machine, getting a computerized one was fine. Am going to try making your pattern for the t-shirt. Just have to remember to buy the ribbon for the collar tomorrow.
Hello from New Zealand. I love watching sewing machine videos. I recently added a Singer 4423 to my collection. She (Singer) will serve me well, I know this already! Your dress is lovely.
Very nicely done. I love how you achieved such a perfect fit. I would love to know if your patterns would be suitable for a beginner sewist or if they are more for sewists at a more advanced level.
Dear Lydia, I am an absolute beginner to sewing and I am currently looking for THE MACHINE for myself to begin with. As you can probably tell - it is tough to make a choice, considering all the offers and recommendations you can get on- and offline. I'd really like to know, if you are still excited about your Singer Quantum Stylist and if it satisfied your sewing-needs so far? I found that Singer had quite a bad reputation nowadays for the modern and computerised machines, saying that there were a lot of defect reports and other technical problems, which often could'nt be solved. Thank you for your help & the great videos! All the best from South Germany!
Hi, usually I wouldn't choose singer first, i would go with Janome or Bernette or something, but this machine really impressed me after researching it so I decided I wanted it. I also hear good things about the heavy duty. I use this machine exclusively save for my overlocker. It doesn't run as smoothly - like it sounds a bit clunky but it does a fine job for all my sewing work :) I have used it for all my sewing marathons - you can see it in action here ruclips.net/p/PLzPSoMIow0EGHc5icaEjJEKdWHOsOdycf
Looking to get a sewing machine. Would you suggest this to sew over denim thats been folded over or the Singer 4423 or 4452. Customer comments are all over the place on Amazon. Thanks. making alterations on my pants.
Does this machine have an automated reverse stitch function? Many sewing machines in this price cathegory have that. Also how do you find it in terms of how much noise it makes? It attracts me a lot, to be honest but I don’t know if I should go for it instead of a Brother.
I've now had it for a year or so and I really really like it . My only complaint is that it sounds kind of clunky it's not that loud though. It does have an auto reverse stitch function but I don't ever use it.
Lovely video. Was just looking for info about sewing machines on your channel. I couldn’t be happier. By the way, are you aware of any Black Friday sale on sewing machines? Thanks
I really loved this video thank you for sharing ! I have learned soo much from your channel and I'm so thankful for that 💕 Also can you please make a video for converting denims to shorts as well as diy rip jeans/shorts or distress jeans/shorts ? It would really mean so much because RUclips doesn't have that many vids on those and you're the only person I trust I could learn it properly from before I butcher any clothes 😅 🙏
Hello, I am talking to you from Ethiopia. This machine (k=6F=365=35) has a reading on the board then no worked please if you can how i solve this problem please? thank you for yours help!
Hello my name is Lupita. I am looking to buy a new sewing machine and this this has caught my attention but I would love your feedback. I know this video is about a year old so I know for sure you can tell me about your experience with this sewing machine. Do you still have her and use it? Do you still recommend her? Is it worth its cost? If it’s not an uncomfortable question may I ask, How did you get singer to gift you this machine? Hopefully you see my comment and answer my questions. Thank you so much.
Hi Lupita, She is still going strong, i use her almost exclusively other than my serger. Works great, you will see me using this machine in every video after this one :)
OH no! I hope that doesn't happen to me! Sorry you had to deal with that! Mine is working fine, still going strong :) Hopefully Singer fixes this issue for you!
Great video! Awesome content! I just had a quick question if anyone could recommend me the literally most basic sowing machine to sow down my 10” by 8” chenille patch to my hoodies and to sow my hang tags to my sleeves, that is all I would use the sowing machine for, or in that case should I just hand sow? If anyone could recommend me that’d be great!
Thanks so much David! I would say just get a second hand one, or check out my video on sewing machines, you could get the cheapest one on my list and it should work great for what you've described ruclips.net/video/tIkOnngnbYI/видео.html
Has this machine changed your mind on computerized machines ( I watched another video of yours where you mentioned you preferred mechanical). Are you using your other older machines less? I watched your 6 makes in 24 hours video and saw you swapped between several machines 😲. I have a Kenmore computerized machine from the late 1980s that I inherited and it has given me trouble off and on in the past - though I just had it serviced and they did a minor repair so I’m hoping it will work well for me now, but I do wish it had more decorative stitches like this Singer has. It’s marked as the 100 stitch limited edition. But I’m hesitant to part with it. It might be too “ new “ to classify as one of those indestructible older machines but also might be too dated to work well. And the threader and auto cutter - I would love that. Wish I had a whole room like this, hahah!
No it hasn't changed my mind. It flashy and cool and has great options, it's more heavy-duty than my old Kenmore in terms of sewing through thick fabrics but I don't rely on it as my main fast project machine. My main machine is an industrial and if I was to replace it it would be another industrial mechanical or a semi computerized(one that can still work if the computer ever malfunctions. Anyway! I really like this Singer especially for its buttonhole and other fancy functions but its too slow for me and in general I prefer industrials. Otherwise I don't have any complaints. I do have a fear in the back of my mind that the computer will malfunction tho! But no issues yet!
I got the same model during lock down but having hard time betraying my 20 year old loyal euro pro. However that button hole trick might let me cheat a little.
hello you got some very beautiful sewing skills please kindly film how to sew a button on using the sewing machine please kindly let me know OK?thank you very much 😊
OMG Dress is so cute, flattering, and
so professional looking
The dress is adorable, as are you! I love my 9960, and really appreciate well done videos showing it in action!

Good call! I love it, and haven't had any problems with it since!
Ask and ye shall receive. It's amazing that you requested it and it was gifted to you by the manufacturer. Applause 👏👏👏
Lovely dress!Love my Quantum so much too. I also rejoice at all the hands free lol. Can you keep adding all your processes. Thanks!!
Thank you! Yes its a great machine! I may do a more in depth machine operation in the future, but not sure at the moment!
I love it! I’m looking for a new machine and you’ve convinced me this is the machine for me! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Oh, and I love your dress!

Beautiful!
This is so cute!
so cute on you. Your video was fun. I'm not there yet.
Omg I been eyeballing this machine!

Yeaaah! Its so awesome!
Does this machine sew faster to you?
I have a computerized brother. Been using for YEARS. Love it. But I need more speed
I hear you!!! This one is no where near fast enough 😂 but then I'm used to an industrial machine. Otherwise it's great!

Thank you! I plan to release it in March 🤞
❤ How do you feel it does with heavy material?
It actually does surprisingly well. All my videos from this point on have this machine in it, including my jeans hem videos - and it performs well!
Loved the video, your kitty is identical to my old girl I had to say good bye to last summer.
Awww, so sad, I hope the shots of my cat bring you joy!
@@LydiaNaomi it did. with a little tears.
That dress is stunning is there a pattern?
Thank you! That was my second draft. Lots more work to do before it becomes a sellable pattern. So glad you are interested!
