- April 2017年 花見山は、福島市にあり春先にウメ、数種類のサクラ、レンギョウ、モモ、ボケ、モクレンなど、赤白桃黄紅色の花々がそれこそ百花繚乱に咲き乱れる、旅ファンにも人気の花の名所です。日本を代表する写真家の故・秋山庄太郎氏が「福島に桃源郷あり」と毎年訪れていた場所としても知られ、花木の栽培農家が善意で開放しているという私有地の公園。周辺にはサクラや花々も多く、まさにハイキング気分で散策が楽しめます。

Hanamiyama Park is a privately-owned field for growing flowering and ornamental trees, located within a satoyama landscape south-east of the center of Fukushima City.
The view from the top of the hill in springtime with the picturesque
snow-capped Azuma Mountains in the distance and the surrounding flowers in a riot of spring colors is spectacular. The flowering landscape, which moves all who see it, has been preserved through the cooperation of local residents.
Several cherry varieties and flowering trees and bushes are also
planted in large numbers around the slopes and provide visitors
with a wide range of spring colors.
