My Daughter and I Loved this he is NOT a variant Victor Timely is He Who Remains younger .Remember season 1 he said im alot older than I look to Loki.He set this up
@Smols Family Reactions, 5:03 Yup, and the first episode told us that this would happen, as the Temporal Loom was worse off in the future than it was at the time we were watching it. Without He Who Remains at the Citadel at the End of Time, the Sacred Timeline has become something like a wild weed, and it's growing uncontrollably! 8:31 If it helps, Grandma Smols, think of Victor Timely as a master key, he's an exact copy of the person who built the TVA, so he's got the DNA and fingerprints to unlock it. 10:16 Is Victor Timely, actually, the variant that becomes, He Who Remains? HWR doesn't do partnerships, right? He just said so. All of the Kangs are fighting each other for this very reason. Why would He Who Remains help this version of himself? Is it because this has happened before, and that he's always chosen a variant of himself that existed in the Multiverse at an era that stunted his growth, a variant of himself, the other versions of himself ignored--he wasn't on their level, so why bother? For someone who doesn't do partnerships, if you were going to do it in the end, you'd probably want to do it with yourself before any other person, no? 11:31 Sylvie going full Minority Report here, yikes! 16:50 Is this experience WHY the TVA was built to nullify magic and other fantastic powers in the Universe? 17:35 It is a bit extreme, but if you were on the run for more than a thousand years, living in the end of days of countless worlds while eating nothing but rats and possums and never getting a good night's rest, you might feel the same toward the person who turned your life upside down too. I think that's why she couldn't see things Loki's way. She needed an end to her nightmare and the only way she saw that happening was by getting rid of her tormentors. Ravonna is the one who removed her from reality, remember? Why Sylvie asked her last season about her Nexus Event, Ravonna responded with "I don't remember," and I think we all dismissed it as Ravonna being flippant, but this season made it clear that everyone at the TVA had their minds erased at least once. The funny thing is, I don't think it was Kang that did it! OB told us last week that Miss Minutes ran the TVA and that all he had to do was check the diagnostics every couple hundred years. We see now that Miss Minutes is an obsessive AI that is in love with HWR, and I think she's always been trying to get rid of Ravonna. We heard the recording of HWR with Ravonna in the war room, and that was probably a true partnership--Kang and Ravonna are an item in the comics. Miss Minutes would need to get rid of Ravonna for her to even have a chance, no? Kang likely knew of Miss Minutes feelings, but he kept her busy and away--she ran the TVA. "I've been called many things, a ruler, a conqueror, He Who Remains, a jerk." --He Who Remains I always thought that it was Ravonna who called him a jerk. We don't know their backstory yet, but I think we're bout to find out. Kang doesn't do partnerships, and the Multiversal War is proof of that, BUT I think Ravonna does have a special place in his heart. She was made judge, and everyone answered to her at the TVA. The water ring on her table from last season was likely Kang's, and not Mobius'. She did talk to the Timekeepers last season, and we weren't privy to what they talked about. Will we find out this season? 18:50 I think the secret is that they were partners, but Miss Mintues is going to spin it to make it look like HWR double-crossed her, but I don't think that's exactly what happened since I still think Miss Minutes is making her own play for power. This was a great episode. I wonder when we'll see the loom reach critical mass like we saw it when Loki jumped to the future. Is that an episode 6 sort of thing or will it happen sooner? Loki seems to be fine now, no more Time Slipping, but if you remember the scenes from the trailers, there are other scenes that we have yet to see that showed Loki Time Slipping! Were those cut scenes used in the trailer or is Loki going to start Time Slipping again soon? Next week can't come soon enough. Nice reaction Smols family =)
Another great reaction! This show is great and so is your channel! “May time be on your side/with you” super cute - you can always do “For all time. Always” from season 1
Loving your reaction videos and the positive vibes. I check out those other breakdown channels too but also feel it's important to just enjoy the episodes and not get too caught up in all the details. It's been a great show so far, glad you're enjoying it too.
I'm really loving this show so far, I haven't been enjoying the direction of the MCU recently, I didn't finish Secret Invasion and I didn't even watch Ant Man 3 but this show has been awesome and it's doing such a good job of establishing Kang and building on the ideas of time travel and multiverses in an engaging, interesting and understandable way. I also love the visual style, cinematography and directing! Glad to see you all enjoying the show too, your opinions and thoughts are always really interesting to hear about and Grandma Smols gives a really good and fresh insight and viewpoint during the reactions and dicussion segments. Can't wait for next week guys!
I'm with you on that. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness was undermined by the trailer. No urge to see Ant Man. Only saw one episode of Secret Wars. Didn't finish Thor. Not really excited about the Marvels (and I love Kamala and Monica). Cried like I was at Chadwick Baseman's funeral watching Black Panther 2. Didn't see Guardians, not really interested. BUT THIS!!! I'm all in.
I was a bit underwhelmed with episode 2, but absolutely loved this episode! Jonathan Majors is so amazing in this episode. Especially after watching him in Creed 3! Great reaction as always!
It sure is starting to look like Ravonna has some ulterior motives! I wonder if she wants to be the big boss now? She sure sounded like she was fed up with being underappreciated for eons!
In the comics, they are lovers I think, but the MCU does change a lot and doesn't really follow the comics very much, so who knows, possible I guess, but personally I don't think she is.
I am curious on what would Miss Minutes have been able to do when she started running toward Victor? If Victor did not use that tempad to get her to disappear, what would've happened? She cannot physically interact with anyone, can she?
MOrning Smols Fam. This was another good episode. Jonthan Majors killed it but man, Miss Minutes was creeeeepy, lol!! I guess at this point we gotta take the time jumps as they are but I think they're doing a great job progressing the story and I've been hearing Ep4 is supposed to be great.

Grandma Smols in the house! 🎉
Could Ravonna actually be a Kang variant???
I hope not. That would be such lazy writing. They have so much source material to pull from for better options

@@saphiramystique2086the mcu is a separate universe from the comics which the comics are canon

And im late on this and im sure youve probably already been asked this but you should do reactions to the New Rockstars breakdowns.
That’s a very cool idea!
