First of all, thanks for the metric conversions, very nice touch. I honestly expected no pass through but cracks and chunks breaking off. That russian projectile just nailed that hole, the slow mo on that was spot on. Maybe the dogleg trajectory is due to the rocks/cement positions in the barrier and the core simply goes where there is less resistance and "avoids" the harder rocks inside.

In the Army we would expend ammunition before it got "too old". In ONE SINGLE DAY at the range, my company (less that 200 men) shot over 300,000, that's Three Hundred THOUSAND rounds of 5.56. Two hundred thousand rounds of M855 green tip and 100,000 rounds of M856 Tracer using SAWs and M16/M4 variants. THAT's the kind of fun I like to have!
Thank you for your content. Always wear my shirts with pride. always stay till the end. hey if you like looking for the spent bullets, take a couple of thin boards and put them into the corners of that trailer, pointing up, then staple some butchers paper across them to see where they go through the paper after going through the target.
Damn! That was cool👍 the first round surprised me . The next three All I was thinking was🤯 good info thx.......not that I'm gonna be engaged by a .50 from less than 50yds any time soon..... hopefully.
As a man who lived in New Jersey I've always wondered what it would be like to shoot one of those Jersey barriers. Thanks for making that dream come true lol
What about splitting some logs with the 50 guys, it would be interesting to see how far up a log a 50 would get, you know aiming at the sawn thick end, I think you would need a metal detector to find the round from the outside or just ram something up the hole the projectile makes, that always works to gauge depth.

Yeah...really enjoyed that video. It was interesting wasnt it? The fact that it seemed to pass through the ten inch so easily but it took what 5 rounds to get through 13 inches? If you look in the corner above his right shoulder @4:21 you can see something moving. It looks like maybe a lizard or a scorpion.
So what's wrong with the bolt that you have to hit to open the action?
Old casings were splitting (they always do) and expanding in the chamber more than usual.
so when the brass splits like that can the case be repaired and reused or is it done ?
only way to reuse is cut neck off resize for shorter rd.
