Massive City of Troy fan. Been studying recent Breeders cup classics. And a few pointers in his favour. Usually a small field, and even more interesting is the fact that, most of the front runners were never pegged back. So for me if Troy can hit the gates, get on the rail. It will take something special to pass him. I for one think 3-1 is an absolute bargain. And can see him going off nearer to 6-4 on the day. 😊

He moves like a dirt horse and doesn’t like the soft going. I’d be shocked if he couldn’t run great on dirt. I’m betting he skips right over it. Might be even better on it.
@@silvereyedstacker1842 He doesn't move like a dirt horse. our horses will break him in the first 1/4 mile. His best bet would be him moving late with 1/2 mile to go and passing tired horses.
@@sionrouge1697 That has nothing to do with the way he moves though. And he moves like a dirt horse. You’re simply talking about speed and positioning in the race. And some of our greatest dirt horses didn’t need to even be up close to win. Even Arrogate, Ghostzapper, and Secretariat sometimes closed into their wins. The majority of dirt horses don’t need the lead to win. Our horses aren’t likely to break him as COT has shown to be rideable and adaptable.

Make no mistake, City of Troy is good, very, very good... Plenty of pace and a massive engine, he's also adaptable in terms of track position. Assuming he takes to the dirt and being by Justify, he has every chance should Coolmore commit to the BC Classic.
