When you eventually get starlink you can integrate it into the RUTX11 with failover so that when you lose 4g/cellular it will failover to starlink and you wont have to connect to different networks etc
@@AlloffroadAu cel fi roam is different to cel fi go. Cel fi roam r41 states calls and data, I just don't know how good with data, I'm still researching
🤔 But 3G will be gone soon. Need to boost 4 & 5G. Starlink will be offering Optus text messages this year then voice next. This will probably happen with Telstra also. Starlink speeds can be up to 250mbps down but I believe the cost in Australia is around $179 for mobile use.
for Telstra only Telstra or Boost use the full Telstra network so I choose Boost any other provider like Aldi advertising Telstra will have limited coverage outside of main cities. As a second card a Optus Card.
Iridium is good but I try to just use my Garmin PLB and the GarminInReach Mini 2 and see how I go. The landscape will change substantially over the next two years and you likely can get a mobile making Satellite call within the next 2-3 years
I have a dual SIM Teltonika and found it great.
yep still like my set up so much better than CelFiGo

Starlink min will be out soon and they are also going to be starting to link phones into a cel sat system
yep still a year or two away so this is a great solution for in between
Starlink mini out now
How does the Rutx11 compare to the Cel Fi Roam r41, ive been reading that it boosts streaming/data
haven’t used CelFi Roam does it have MiMo antennas?
@AlloffroadAu I'm only learning but it appears they do have one for the cel fi quatra but that's around $4000
from what I have seen with the CelFi Go I don't think it would be worth it. My commercial router and Mimo antenna work better than CelFiGo ever has.
