    DISCLAIMER: Only do this at your own risk and if you know what you are doing. I take no responsibility for any direct or indirect damages/accidents/etc. caused by using the information in this video or any part of it.
    As shown and explained in the video, you can set up the hardness of the coil spring suspension of KuKirin electric scooters. There are rotatable plates on threads in both suspension, which can be turned to make the suspension harder or softer. The factory setting is quite hard, possibly configured for the maximum user's weight, but if you are significantly lighter than that, a softer setting gives you a more comfortable ride. Make sure to not loosen or tighten the suspension too much.
    While the access to the back suspension is relatively easy, the front suspension needs more disassembly, tools and skill, i don't recommend doing it unless you are prepared to not being able putting it together again.
    After you change something on your scooter, please always check if there are no loose screws and anything is rebuilt correctly.
    Thanks for watching!

    Got my KuKiirin G2 Max today, it's indeed very hard to turn the suspension coin pretension as I even had to use a hammer lol
    It's really comfortable to ride now though so it's totally worth it

      Using a hammer does not seem like a very refined method, but hey, if it works :) The official tool to doing the adjustment is called a C-Hook Wrench as far as I can tell, like these www.amazon.com/shock-adjustment-tool/s?k=shock+adjustment+tool (no affiliation). I have never used one, although have seen others adjusting suspensions before. Such a C-Hook Wrench would also fit into the front suspension.

      For me it is not that hard to turn it with this method, how many times did you turn it. I got it a week ago but 3 days ago i gave it to my friend to pick up his friend that was coming and somehow he popped the tire

      The turning in the video is not cut, I did not turn it before, this is all I did. It was around 1.5 - 2 rotations, about 2, maybe 3mm. The tightness of the spring reduced significantly. It you set it up too loose and then two people stood on it, that might have been too much, the tire could have hit the other parts. The factory setting has a reason, it supports the maximum weight, for the price of being uncomfortable for lighter loads. You can not really have both the same time.

    Good video. So, to lower the ride height, you would turn the nut to the right?

    • @techandmore99
      @techandmore99  13 дней назад +1

      Thanks! Turn it clockwise to make it higher (up to a point) or the spring tighter, or turn counterclockwise to make it softer and then lower. If you make it too low, you will remove the the nut from the thread, so watch out for that.

      I plan to do a review, thanks for the encouragement. Bought it from banggood.com for around 530 Euros as a preorder, waited for it a month, arrived 9 days ago. It ought to be the newest 2024 revision.

      Bonjour mon ami, avez-vous des informations sur la façon d'installer deux moteurs

    • @hbkz0r
      @hbkz0r Месяц назад

      I would not recommend the scooter , is not that good, a lot of engines that have issues brand new and they need replacing, i have a friend that bought it , he had to purchase a new engine in the first 2 weeks. They added the wrong bearings from factory and because of that a new engine was needed.

    • @techandmore99
      @techandmore99  Месяц назад

      I don't think you you can install two motors, because to do that you would need to change the controlling electronics and maybe even a stronger battery for the higher load.

    The explanation at the beggining of the video is simply not true. The spring is not pre tensioned. By turning the nut counter clockwise you are simply making your shock absorber shorter - lowering the height of your scooter from the ground. The only pre tension there is, is your weight when you step on the scooter, by turning the nut you are simply changing the lenght of your shock absorber. Look at the shock absorber by itself and you will understand this simple mechanism.

      I respecfully disagree. Mine was definitely pretensioned, this is why turning the plate was also quite difficult in the beginning and got significantly easier. After you remove the pretension the scooter is simply lovered as you say. It is very possible that yours was set up without pretension from factory, however, when you turn the nut clockwise you will have a pretension eventually, or else the absorber would have to fall apart.

      @@techandmore99 It's possible that we received different things. I received mine without pretension, turning it in either direction had no resistance and turning it counter clockwise only lowered the height with the shock remaining stiff.
