I really do miss the moves packs of the old games
I honestly wish they would add additional moves not assigned to characters in the pack so there would be more variety rather than what we get every year we always get some type of powerbomb suplex clothesline or ax handle every year in dlcs and overall i wish they stop adding the same people just to remove them and make them dlc again
Well atleast we have the McAffee and friends pack that can still deliver.
Sadly Post Malone's moves seem to be nothing special but McAffee's friends probably are a complete carte blanche.

That's like asking for The Rockbottom without calling it "Rockbottom"... What?
And wrestlers coming and going, contracts expiring, wrestlers leaving, and returning... I mean, that's kinda part of the business... I can understand your complaint when wrestlers are still within the company, on some legends contract or something; it would be silly to add, remove, and add again later... But when wrestlers are completely done with the company, gone from promotion, and especially working for another promotion, that's another thing, entirely..
The only two big-legendary names I feel they're missing are Goldberg and Sting, and that's completely on them for not being with the company anymore... Now, if they were to return, again, on some legends contract, then they should definitely be put right back into the game...
However, I don't know what's going on with Brock Lesnar... Apparently, he's still with the company, but they still haven't put him right back into the game.
I feel there are a lot of reasons, why things are the way they are, that we just don't know about.. 🤷♂️

I think what Kevon Bailey tried to say was, since dropping the dedicated “new moves pack”, the prior games sprinkled in a few extra moves not associated with the wrestlers included in each dlc pack.. 2k24 unfortunately is literally just giving us the moves of the new wrestlers.. which is sad, because I look forward to some popular moves from the indies or other promotions that would be thrown in. Still waiting for the Coffin Drop in a WWE game, it’ll probably be called the Reverese Diving Senton or something to that effect

What he is asking for is not weird. We have gotten extra moves like the BFT 2 on normal patches.
Just add some more moves from the indies or AEW and have one of the packs labeled with DLC moves pack. Which is exactly what they have done before.
And the bit about wrestlers coming and going has nothing to do with his complaint.
Look at Honky Tonk Man in this pack.
Been in like 10 WWE games, several as a base character, once even as a Free DLC, why do we have to keep buying him every other year?
@@spslayer9113Oh! Okay, but still... I would think the assigned signatures and finishers of wrestlers they're putting into the game takes priority over random indie moves... If they got some time or space left over, then go for it... But I still think Rhea Ripley needs a NEW Riptide, Kevin Nash/Diesel needs a NEW JackKnife PowerBomb, and I really hope Lex Luger gets a NEW Torture Rack, and Diamond Dallas Page gets a NEW Diamond Cutter! Yes, I would prioritize those moves over any indie move.
0:38 Ha! That's awesome... That Coast-to-Coast Buckle Slam is EVERY Old School wrestler, EVER! Love it, glad that made it in - now I gotta go back and customize their moveset and give EVERY legend that move - Hogan, Savage, Warrior, Steamboat, Piper, etc! Honky Tonk Man has one of the goofiest finishers I've ever seen, but the other regular old school animations must be for him, and those animations will make him a lot of fun to play as - I'm a Move-Set Guy, and based off these animations, I can tell Honky Tonk Man and The Headbangers look like fun! I just hope Lex Luger gets a NEW Torture Rack!

Ha! Well, I was wrong about who that Coast-to-Coast Buckle Slam belonged to, it belonged to The Headbangers... Even more reason I'm glad they're added, and as I thought they are fun to play as, along with the Honky Tonk Man... It's something about the simplicity of the old school animations I really love, I guess it's the nostalgia for me..
We just need more tag teams, hopefully we can keep who we have now (The nWo, The Outsider's, The Dudleyz, The Steiners, and The Headbangers), and add more in WWE 2K25...
There should EASILY be a Wild Samoans Pack - perhaps featuring Haku/Ming and The Barbarian aka Faces of Fear, Tanga, Jacob Fatu, etc.
The short-lived Dudes With Attitudes? Shawn Michaels and Diesel Persona Cards around that time would be cool... Just like how they just added Shawn Michaels entrance w/ Sensational Sherri, they should add Shawn Michaels Entrance with Diesel.
Also, how do they not have D-X as a mainstays? I feel that goes without saying, seeing as how long Michaels and Triple H has been with the company and basically running it now... They had that D-X Pack a couple of games ago, but why haven't they keep that version of Triple H and Shawn Michaels in the game? They should definitely be Persona Cards.
What about Harlem Heat? They can't get Stevie Ray? If so, then Harlem Heat should definitely be Persona Cards for Booker T and Stevie Ray... Hilariously, we just got Sensational Sherri... It's all coming full circle.. 😅
But I don't understand why they haven't made APA alternative attires for JBL/Bradshaw and Faarooq... They should be Persona Cards, not the Elite Toys or DeMastered nonsense, in my opinion.. 🤔
Did you Know DIJAK has his proper entrance? As well, Shawn and Sherri have a tag entrance!
It's cool to see the Headbangers back in a game simply for the fact that they were in WWF War Zone way back in the day! 😀
I smiled so hard when I saw their entrance. Played Warzone as a kid so it’s cool to see them in better graphics.

No more celebrities as DLC characters, it doesn’t make any sense to put these people in a wrestling game, we don’t care about these people. We want actual wrestlers from the WWE’s past and present, not “Post Malone and friends”. 😡
I like that Slingshot Elbow Drop and the Shake Rattle and Roll
As a guy that really loves WWE 2k games, and loved the ECW pack, i can confidently say this definitely is the worst DLC I've seen in a long time. Most of the moves are meh but nothing special. The tag moves are good though.
That's all I care about tbh is the moves😭 if the moves ain't good then the dlc is bad in my opinion.💀
Putting non wrestlers in DLC packs over legends and nxt rookies and not even adding a whole bunch of new moves to compensate is so wrong...
That Snapmare & Fist Drop, which I assume is for HTM, will work great for Jerry Lawler.

The move animations are really impressive to me, didn't expect that many old school wrestling animations to come through, via The Honky Tonk Man and The Headbangers... Honky Tonk Man has one of the goofiest finishers I've ever seen, but the regular move animations he and The Headbangers will have seem like a lot of fun... Yeah, I'm a Move-Set Guy, so this actually peaked my interest.. I thought this would be the worst DLC, and I agree, I'm more excited about the other DLCs, but here it's the move animations for me - that BURNING HAMMER looks AWESOME!

Old school wrestling isn’t on flashy moves it’s more on personality and ring psychology. That’s why every old school moves are like “punch, suplex, clothesline, finisher: running splash”
So Post Malone has MGK moveset from 2K22

Why is the new Flatliner A: Locked into the clothesline duck or from behind rather than having just a regular standing version, and B: Not doable as a rope rebound move.

Even though it’s not really flashiest or the craziest move in the game. I actually kinda like Flatliner 3. Might end up using that move. Really all you need sometimes is a simple but effective looking move.

Exactly. Even if you don’t like the wrestlers in them, you can still have their moves to use for others. I call it: “Taking the good with the bad, or in this case… underwhelming.”

Hey I know it'd be more hassle but if you could do these in practice play to see the reversal timing and just put the move name on the screen that'd be really cool
I hope the next gen of WWE games, whenever the hell that might be, we see them go for a simplified move list but add more physics complexity to the moves. I don't need fifteen suplex variations. I just want one that will react properly based on the situation it is performed in. If I'm close to the ropes we go over the ropes. If I'm close to the barricade we smash into it. If I'm at the edge of the cell, off ya go. Keep the move list small but allow more creativity in moves. It always sucks when your characters just slide away from the ropes/cell/stage side because "It's not meant to happen". Forcing us to use the same four? moves meant for those interactions.

I think it's a solid effort for DLC... Couldn't care less for Post Malone, I have absolutely zero plans to play as him; just like I NEVER played as MGK, and even The Terminator... It's cool Sherri is in the game, but I forgot how terrible her Splash was, and they nailed the animation - it sucks... But Honky Tonk Man and The Headbangers are pure nostalgia for me, and look like a lot of fun to play as, considering all of old school wrestling animations!

Bad Moves, Barrett
The moves are ok, I think that they could have added more interesting moves for Post Malone. Also the animation isn't exactly great. I think that this pack has the best example some decent animations and some rather bad ones. Like I really don't like how... unanimated? The new Shake Rattle and Roll is. Especially compared to the original from... What? 2k16? The little jiggle and the actual swinging into the neckbreaker. Also that Stage Dive, it needed retiming. Maybe hold off the dive a little bit. Adjusting Mocap probably isn't the most ideal but this move needed a bit of animation work. Especially as this move is very awkward to perform. Or cut it into chunks where you just animate the tag into Powerbomb segment then stitch the Leg Drop afterwards.

That’s why they need to have a mixture of old and new wrestlers in these packs. Or just add original moves with each DLC pack. People are getting sick of the same moves being added.
