Hello, Diego. Last week i had product case for my job application but during the assignment i found that i have soo many idea come up and become frustration to prioritize and choose the right one. Could you give a suggestion, please? thank you🙂
Diego, I just wanted to say this is one of the best videos out there on PM interview prep. This is something I struggle with often; brainstorming diverse solutions. This is like way better than try exponent or any of the other PM resources out there. Keep doing more!
I have always been wondering how anyone can come up with such quick solutions. This technique is just mind-blowing. I will surely give this a try. Thanks for sharing, Diego!
Diego, I have been following your videos and I like all of them. This one is just awesome. You are a genius. The reason why your content is so relevant is that you have great customer empathy. That differentiates greatly with other related channels on internet.
This is brilliant! This is the exact content I was looking for to prepare for my product design interview. I am fascinated that product managers also have a design sense challenge similar to product designers' whiteboard challenge. Amazing content, thank you so much, Diego!
Thank you so much, Isabella!! I’m really glad that you found the video useful 😊 Best of luck in your product design interviews and please keep me posted!!
Love your videos! Thank you. I recently got stuck in an improvement question - “how do you improve the new user experience for twitter?” - most ideas I could think of were around making features of twitter easier for new users or tutorials or example tweets or increased discovery- what can a moonshot idea be in case of such a specific question?
Hi Ananth!, My suggestions it to pick one of the segments (instead of talking about all of them) and then go deep into the pain points and use cases for that segment. Check out part 1 for the framework that I use: ruclips.net/video/H8mogX0OwIQ/видео.html Let me know if this answers your question or if there's any follow up
@@PMDiegoGranados Thank you for getting back to me. My question was more to do with the different interviews. What I meant is, in a span of 45 mins, an interviewer can ask you 3 different product case questions right? So, is it ideal to spend 15 to 16 mins per question?
I see, well, it’s up to the interviewer - don’t worry about the time. Try to answer at your pase and let the interviewer determine if they will ask you 1 or 3 cases. Here’s why... If you rush to get it done in 15 min and they only were going to ask you 1 big case question, then you finished the whole case in 15 min without getting into too many details. The interviewer may assume that you don’t know much about the topic because you just rushed through it. My recommendation is to listen to the interviewer and give a good answer - let them decide if they want to ask you 1 or 3 questions
What questions do you have about answering product case questions?

Hey Diego! What’s the ideal amount of time to discuss each segment of a 45 minute video? I normally stick to 15 to 16 mins per segment..
