Love this format from you Roos. I hope it’s not exhausting for you. Learning a lot just watching you make decisions. Also very relaxing. So great to see the updates too - you don’t see that often!
Hi Roos. I totally enjoyed this video, and I hope you do more in the future. I love plant chores videos, and I like the way you gave us a current update on the plants. Love your haul, too. ❤❤❤
You are so confident in caring for your plants! I'm not a bundle of nerves, but I do research a lot. 😅 I've been watching you for a few months now and I love all your videos. Your liberated attitude is liberating! Thank you! And Roos, I think you are absolutely gorgeous. That's not a come-on - it's just the truth! 😊 Sometimes, it's nice to share 💚
Awww haha that's so cool to hear thank you! Just trying stuff and going for it is fun, tho I also love research or learning from friends - I watched a lot of plant care content the passed 8 years. Thank you!
i love how the updates are following the repotting, so so satisfying :) also really appreciate the things u talk about, its refreshing compared to a lot of other plant ytbers to see a long repotting video in which most of the talk is instructive !
Love the formatting of the video. I also love that I got to see some of the updates of the plants you repotted. I think that was the best part for me. 😊
@@plantwithroos yes I was sitting watching your video and then when it finished, I was like okay I have work to do so you give me the inspiration to get up and do some plant stuff myself thank you so much. ❤❤
love the update on the plants! don't mind the mess hahahaha what a patient boyfriend shout out to him! 🥰 plants look great, I love the tip about the sizing up pf anthuriums I have notice that it really works, it just makes me run out of room fast and big self-watering pots are expensive!
Thank your very much haha yes boyfriend is very patient with my chaos ❤️❤️ he's the best! It is hard to get big pots, I found cheapish ones at the garden center by elho but they're not self watering. Plus they're harder to place on shelves etc cos the pots get so big! But worth it for the big leaves haha 🤭❤️
Love! Love! Love! Was just watching you on insta.. I am just listening Welcome to the deep C podcast.. my granddaughter is going through cancer treatment (she's just 2) so any information, how to get through, experiences I welcome.. My plants are how I keep busy at home and watching awesome videos like yours 👍🐈❤
@@plantwithroos Emily is a light in our life. Always smiling and joyful. But very hard to watch and I worry about my son,my daughter in law and grandson. One day at a time this too shall pass but some days are harder than others 🩷
Loving your realness and I also really appreciate the updates! Ruthless-rootless 🤣 (cracked me up) For the beneficial bugs… I noticed in my own journey with them that it is very important to keep checking if the beneficials are still present and replace them as soon as there is a decline. For me that was every 3 weeks in stead of the like 6 that was recommended, that was very expensive but also very effective and I have been without thrips for almost 2 years now (I am still using beneficial bugs every now and then just in case as a preventative, but with way longer intervals) De aanhouder wint 😉 geldt echt hier! Pests should definitely pay rent!
Oh that's interesting, I get them every 4 weeks normally. I'm glad it works for you! I think my stressed plants and stressed self from the renovation is giving the bugs more of a chance but I'll get rid of them again I'm sure. Plus with good bugs they don't bring me stress anymore 🤭❤️
@@plantwithroos That may be the most important thing they do, right? Give us peace of mind, not having to run around with a spray bottle checking all the nooks and crannies of the plants on a daily basis 😂 I hope they will leave your plants soon 🌱🌸
I also want to propagate my monstera albo in water but it is never a success it starts getting rotten black and mushy so please tell us so I can have a successfully cutting my plant healthy and happy
Oh that's sad! Did you see my video about water propagating Monstera? I have quite a few chop Monstera videos with all my tips and experiences. It didn't work for me at first either! I rotted my first cutting that I bought for 50€ 🤭 good luck, you got this
@@plantwithroos Dat snap ik hoor, ik ben zelf net verhuisd en het enorm veel werk 😬Ik ben alleen zo nieuwsgierig. Fijn dat het allemaal achter de rug is nu 🙂

Hey! I use good bugs so I can't use any treatments - they would also kill the good bugs. I prefer this as it's safe for my cats and ourselves and also the pollinators when I move my plants outside. Thank you!

Your update is what the most interesting part. Keep it up Roos

I think that's mostly my fast talking and editing 🤭 it took the whole day until late in the evening 😅

for stuck leaves..wet and then gently cut up the side of the sheath.
Yes making them wet definitely helps! Also a warm moist cloth can be great. In this case I was too impatient haha

I love hoya but in canada crazy pricey and also i cant grow in soil without r otting them so i only grow in moss, bark, perlite mix.
Hopefully prices will drop more. I did see several hoya cuttings (one node!) that were 300-400€ on the markets! 🫢😱
Hi can you tell us the rooting hormone you use in water for better and healthy roots
Any will do - here in Europe I use Pokon stek poeder (Dutch name for rooting hormone)
