All but one wanted to marry and I dunno… apparently I an a lovable asshole or something bc I freak out and walk away. I did accept a proposal and even had kids with a man I was with for 7 years but I was kind of his caretaker and felt it would be unfair to my kids. I have always been an advocate for fathers and I would love to find a balance between genuine passion and grounded stability for my kiddos. They are happy kids though and it is terrifying in some ways to consider that bringing the wrong guy in at this point could ruin that.
