Marathi being a language derived from Sanskrit, It also has similarities with other Sanskrit based languages like bengali and gujrati and bhojpuri. Post 16 century when Marathi folks expanded their kingdom, a lot of them accepted local languages alongside marathi and it created deccani and dakshini marathi which spoken by Karnataka, TN, talangana and kerala based marathi folks

Not only in hindi, here in Odisha also our odia language is treated in the same way. That's mostly due to our education system.
Just see the comments. Most of the people are writing hindi using English letters instead of using hindi letters. Example: they write "maza aa gaya" instead of writing "मजा आ गया".
The same situation is with odia also. I'm telling you slowly our Indian languages will come to an extinction until and unless our education system is changed
