Dude, this actually really made me miss being at UT and being a student. As hard and grueling as it was a lot of the time, it was also a lot of fun. I am a sophomore in high school ( going to be a junior because there’s only a couple days left ) and if I end up going to college it would be for photography which I can really see myself doing as my job. Immense Presence hello! yes UT Austin is 100% academically challenging. i applies to ivy leagues and i genuinely thought i would end up at one. when i didn’t, i feared i wouldn’t have been challenged enough at UT, but i was totally proven wrong. UT was the hardest 4 years of my life academically. Austin is a thriving city and there’s soooo much to do no matter who you are or what you enjoy. i likes the people the most. not much i didn’t like honestly! taking tests was stressful i guess haha

@@patricklyonsofficial Well I guess every generation has their own traditions started at the university. Interestingly enough when I was at UT in the mid 1970s, it was the age of the "scum dog." These were students' dogs that always wore bandannas and some even sat in class with their masters. When the weather warmed, these dogs would play frisbee with their masters on the grass quadrangle in back of Littlefield fountain while other people sunbathed at the same time. Are there still scum dogs on campus?
I guess people took photos after graduation next to Littlefield fountain in my day; but never IN the fountain. Though I do remember a couple of times that someone put soap in the fountain. I loved going to UT and what is amazing is when I get back to the campus, all of a sudden I am 20 years old again.
Also in my day, Waller Creek was very, very heavily wooded. Because it was so easy to be in that heavy brush without being seen, students from Jester dormitory used to go there to smoke marijuana unseen. It was affectionately called "Jester Jungle." That is the main reason why today Waller Creek is no longer so heavily wooded!

Run a 4.3, average 10 yeards per carry, or rack up 50 sacks in your senior season and it'll give you a shot !

Ali it’s based largely on essays, extra curricular involvement, and test scores! it’s very challenging but an awesome program at UT!
