    My subwoofer is a table basically, a big huge box, and now i can use main speakers as end tables as you indicated. So this solves the problem of speakers cluttering up a room. DSP has awesome potential I think this is what I've learned from all this show stuff. Well done!

    Even though this is RUclips the emotion in Adele's voice came across very well indeed! Superb.

      It sounded much better live. The mic was a little overloaded in this room with the volume, but I'm glad you could pick up the virtues.

    There were some Dragon Fire Acoustics speakers on the other side of the room. Were they just on static display, or did you get a chance to hear them as well?

      I didn't get a chance or even notice. Good eye.

      Yes, those were the Mini Dragons from Dragonfire Acoustics. Great eye! And unfortunately, they were just on display this time.

    I’m curious how this compares to MiniDSP crossovers

      Hard to say but they look impressive

      Completely different pedigree of product than the MiniDSP.

      There is another option as well. Analog-Precision.

    NX-mini. Nothing on Danny’s thread on this yet?

      Correction, these are Holid Audio Labs (HAL) ‘The monolith’s’ speakers. Very similar to GR Research offerings.

    • @AudiophileJunkie
      @AudiophileJunkie  2 года назад +1

      Yeah...I assumed they were GR Research because the subs were the same and he was talking about getting the flat packs from captainhemo who does all the GR Research flat packs.
      Plus the open baffle wing design is classic GR Research, so I suspect the brand HAL is building from a GR Research kit or design... I'll have to find out more. The real feature here though is the Danville DSP.

    Fucking GR Research. Damn. And that's in that shitty, untreated room where virtually all of the systems sound like crap, but Adele is IN THE ROOM. The industry should take note.... (BTW, anyone notice how few DSP products exist? They're either twenty grand or really low level kit, with not much in between.)

      Analog-Precision may be what you are looking for

    Let me know when the Nexus gets teamed up with your 20.7’s. That would be Impressive!

    Looks like the same concept as the PS Audio FR30 speakers

      I couldn't catch what speakers it was? The subs ok, but the top end? Could be interesting to see where the x-over was set

    • @j-rod6420
      @j-rod6420 2 года назад +5

      These are open baffle.The fr30 are a sealed passive radiator design.
      Not sure how that makes them similar.

      @@j-rod6420 they both use the bg neo 10" midrange planar driver. but otherwise, yes I see they're pretty different!
