This awe-inspiring mountaintop retreat designed by visionary architects Hagy Belzberg and George Wittman is dramatically poised upon a prime 32-acre site bordering national parkland, with white water ocean views and never ending vistas of the Malibu coastal headlands and the Santa Monica Mountains' most prominent peaks.
Both the retreat's main residence and fully appointed guest home feature cantilevered living spaces, walls of windows and engineered sight lines that orchestrate a stunning cast of canyons, ocean, sky and architecture.
Designed to complement the beauty of the natural surroundings, the home features a gorgeous saltwater pool and spa, generous indoor/outdoor entertainment areas, large scale kitchen and dining room, private office loft, 20-car motor court and double gated driveway.

I've been a "aficionado" of architecture and luxury homes for a long time. I've been collecting pictures of houses like this for at least one and a half decades, visiting luxury blogs and websites of which many don't even exist anymore. So when RUclips came up, I was hoping for good videos of luxury properties being available there, but I have been disappointed till relatively recently. Only in the last 3 to 4 years, such videos have become more widely available.
The point being, it is still kind of a new thing and I'm afraid people are already starting to fuck it up.
There are great videos that manage to show the beauty of the architecture and the views and do a good job of showcasing the houses, but there already is this weird trend towards videos that don't do a good job at that. And pretty much all of them make the same mistake of losing focus and showing people/models walking around in the house more than showing the actual house.
I suppose it started with videographers trying to do something different, of standing out from the crowd by "telling a story", or some misguided, wannabe-artsy-fartsy nonsense like that, but the result always sucks and on top of that, you're not even standing out anymore, because every hack is doing it now. We have already reached the point where going "classical" and just showing the house, is the more unusual, more bold choice, it seems.
And yes, I am aware that those videos are made to market the properties to potential customers and not for "aficionados" like me, but I really can't imagine that those potential customers are any more interested in seeing some random woman playing with her dog, when they are shopping for a house. I certainly wouldn't. Quite the opposite. I'd be asking myself what the people selling the house are trying to hide by showing me unrelated, random shit instead.
Showing anything else but the property in a video that is supposed to show off the property is just objectively a bad choice and it doesn't matter whether the people making the video are bored of just showing houses over and over. If you think you can get away with putting your own fun over doing the job right, at least actually do something different, instead of making the exact same mistake all the other hacks are making and ending up doing the same thing over and over anyways.
What he said
@@aakar88 Oh, that is a old comment.
Thanks for the reply that brought me back here and a reminder of the past.
Luckily that trend/fad has ended a while ago. I haven't seen any videos that are too "lifestyle-y" and don't show the house properly in a long time.
The ones you see on channels like the "Sotheby's Real Estate" channel or "The Ivan Sher Group" are pretty straight forward, focus on the house and usually have no actors in them.
@@TrangleC Your welcome! Actually I kind of liked the lifestyle format when a gorgeous girl is involved. When watching these videos main thing I want to see is views from the street to get a feel for the area, the garage, the sound system and theater area and most importantly the ocean view and proximity

Looks boring. I guess money cant buy friends lol
Having friends isn't all its cracked up to be, all they do is cause drama half the time, there's nothing better than peace of mind, which often involves solitude.
