These guys are funnier improvising than most modern sitcoms with months to prepare scripts.
Great performances, very funny :D also I only just fully appreciated that the pianist has to improv her piano music to the guys singing, very impressive. I can't play piano, but I can only imagine, I'd be like..oh f**k..no..wait..slow down XD haha
well I'd argue that she is giving the beat.
She takes the lead by useing very destinctive tons from certrain genres, and they follow. Still needs a good feel for the room, but she doesn'T follow them, they follow her beat.
They practice different genres of music in rehearsals. Basically whenever they get to sing/play something they know which tune it is going to be because it's always same tune for the genre. Nevertheless, they are still amazing with improv, some of the best I've ever seen!
Actually the guys are following her lead, so when she slows down they slow down. It actually means that in a subtle way she’s adding to the comedy by setting its pace.
