I’ve finished persona 4 golden already and so did countless others, but it still might be a good idea to post a spoiler warning! I know this game is old and all but it still doesn’t hurt to put one. @@NamelessNotes I just went back and listened to the original songs, and it's less frequent than I thought. At 3:36 the chords should be Bbm7-Eb7 (So in context Cm7 - Bbm7 - Eb7 - Abmaj7. You could voice the second and third chord as Bb-Db-F-Ab to Bb-Db-Eb-G. A similar thing happens in 6:49. I think it should be Gm7-C7-Fmaj7 instead of Cmaj7 - Fmaj7. I feel like they play that vim7-vm7-I7-IVmaj7 progression a lot in the golden exclusive songs, but I could be wrong. In general, I'd voice 3rds and 7ths more (particularly in the golden exclusive songs), but otherwise, these are good arrangements.

I think that's why I make these medleys - cause I want to do all of these songs but can't justify making a video for all of them. But who knows, if the demand is high I may revisit some of the favorites from this medley.
Persona music is often self-referencial and the video games, like broadway musicals, contain reprises. Reprises are any repetition of an earlier song or theme, usually with small changes. I'll Face Myself plays early in the game when Yosuke awakens his Persona. Never More is the ending theme which references the same melody. This melody is also found in A Corner of Memories (the title screen theme) and partially in New Days. This specific arrangement contains ornaments found only in I'll Face Myself. Check my Never More cover to see differences between the two arrangements!

@@danielj7053 for P5 it's actually a lot harder for me to pick. There's so many chill, bluesy tracks coupled along with energetic, hype tracks. I tend to lean more toward the chill. If I had to pick, the very first track that really wowed me on my first playthrough was Confessions/Secret. After hearing that song, I remember exclaiming to my friend who was watching me play at the time that the Atlus Sound Team had done it again - that the P5 soundtrack will go down in history as a legendary video game OST.
The only bad part about this is i don't believe there's any of these covers fully seperate and thats a shame because i love all of them and would love to learn them
I want to do each one individually some day! There are a few that I did already if you're interested. I love all the songs too, this was one of the ways I could justify doing all of them, though it leaves a lot to be desired 😅
