I think the reason KL isn’t competing is because the NCAP invite is the following weekend and they named it after her. She’s swimming the 1650 at the meet. Sub 15 minute 1650 incoming
There’s maybe 2/3 ppl that say C Dressel is washed. I think he can get back down to 21.3 or so in 50 and medal in LA. 50 Fly he could get Bronze also tbh. Fly will be harder with Kharun, Liendo, Ponti tho.
I'm weirdly excited to see Finke race the 400 IM, it's a race I think he could be really good at if he trained it more. Also, nate germonperez in the breast is going to be interesting, since he recently beat McKean. Also a shame I don't see will modglin in the 50 back though, considering he broke the ncaa record
@wildlife8975 Yes, I know. And they may not swim all three. Just found it interesting that Bob B put them in the exact same ones... like he's treating them as a package lol. Though if Summer's 5th event is going to be the 200 free in LA, she'll likely need increased speed in freestyle more than any other (not one of these 3)... eventually... still a long road to LA
@john_hunt12it’s in Austin it’s a training meet I’m sure they are doing a small drop taper tho. Hope they do all 3, I could see them doing that at this meet bc why not

i really want to see dressel and what he will be swimming
and he should just stick to the sprint 50s
I feel like he’ll see if he can hold onto the 100 fly as an option for as long as he can, if for no other reason than for the medley relay
