My Aunt and Uncle lived in Carpenteria. They lived about a 10-minute walk to Carpenteria State Beach. Linden Avenue has a lot of neat little shops and restaurants on it.
I grew up in Carpinteria. It was a great place to live. Not the same vibe as it was in the 70's-80's and 90's. Around 2000 More Big city folks moved in and the small-town vibe sort of went away. To me the small town appeal was lost and the cost to live there was to extreme so I moved. I am sure it is still an awesome place for families and kids to live and grow. When I go visit family in Carpinteria. I dont recognize the town or the people as i did when I left.
Yes, I‘m sure it changed over the years. I didn’t know it back when you lived there. But I still find it rather charming and laid back. And CA lifestyle is overall great. 😃
@@livinginsantabarbara They did a lot of building. It is better for the city in whole. Yes compared to a lot of places Carpinteria is a Gem. When I was young it was were more of the lower income people lived. Not so anymore. I really enjoy places like Morro Bay, Cambria and Cayucos They give me the small beach community vibe. But like Carpinteria they to are Tourist destinations. and all beautiful places
Tenia un amigo que siempre le ponian caricaturas de tablon y del pajaro carpintero, y ahorita es carpintero, y solamente eso, si un dia quieren una cama o algo o mueble el se los puede hacer

Padaro is the place. We used to own a nice lil' joint up there. Now we just hit Loon Point when we visit.
That’s so nice 😃 Love it
Amazing. Where are the electricity lines? Is it underground.
The best place ever!
