When he was elected in 2016 I laughed in disbelief. But since then I've become politically aware. Hence I can now see the destruction caused by liberal policies (even by the conservatives in the UK - the woke policies are worldwide). I now wish Trump every success based on what he achieved in his term as President and because I have now done my own homework and he mostly has the same sane views as me. As a 20+ year teacher, I respect what he said about teachers. The far left has destroyed what we used to know in our classrooms. It is unrecognizable at this point and driving new teachers out up to 25% across California in the last two years. Middle school students are confused as hell and have more behavioral problems than we have ever witnessed compared to even five years ago. One kid even shouted out in class one day “I’m so sick of this LBGTQ thing! Can we just talk about math already?!” That speaks volumes.

Post pandemic, the entire system was dismantled. I was leading my math department this year and implemented an intervention system that brought every failing student to proficiency. The campus was so in shock at witnessing a veteran teacher and leader being treated like this they showed up to my door crying. This is our new reality. They are pushing out the most experienced people and replacing with inexperienced new teachers who can barely handle the behavior problems.
