@We Just Random Ent. it’s all about his Spirit and the life of Christ living through you and as you. This world has mostly dead-end desires. God gives us a new heart and a new nature which is indeed his heart.
Christ himself yielded everything to his Abba, only doing what he saw his father doing.
The Christ-life within us requires our all. Most of us miss this life because we think we can flirt with the darkness when in fact we must have a wholehearted holiness produced by a yielded life humbly before the Lord and giver of life, himself.

We are all going to die no matter what. If you want to thank God, thank him. But, this comparative type of thanks is weird. It's almost like you believe death is some type of horrible thing but God allowed his disciples to suffer gruesome deaths as martyrs. Do you or do you not believe the words of Jesus when he said I go to prepare a place for you? Meaning, those who have passed have a permanent home. Do you or do you not believe the inspired words of Paul when he wrote: Absent from the body, present with the Lord? Or, when he wrote to die is gain?
Thank God for the life you have, but the comparative type where you bring up the dead is quite weird.
