I love this guy! He’s serious. Love the craftsman lathe. Didn’t know they made one. I’m still using a south bend that’s older than me. Belt drive boys and girls!

Wow what a great build. My first Harley was an 84 sporty. I still have a soft spot for the old iron heads. I’m currently building an 81 shovel and you have me some great ideas. Great job man

I love the bike, I think the headlight is throwing off the looks. Maybe LED strip style or the two small inch and a half bulbs. Atleast to me something needs to change there. Thank you for your content

You're smart, the iron heads were made for dirt track and hill climb, and the EVO's were made for street cruising, so the iron heads are the bike to convert! I've got an 82, which I know isn't ideal cuz it has an upgraded tube type frame but it had already had been setup for dirt use and so the boonies mud roads of the Philippines will soon get used to seeing it kick-up dust! Only I'm going with, a stock peanut tank, 4 over forks w/dust covers, and off road knobby tires, a big modified stock tuna can air cleaner, chopped fenders, and 8 in buckhorns! Yea, I'm old school and that's how they used-ta look back in the old dayz!

Nice build! Awesome details. Thinking of building a street type tracker out of my 48. Someday lol

Thanks brother! I always wanted a 48. That is why this one has fat rubber. Good luck with yours!

Question! Did you just cut the rear fender? using your bike as an inspiration to start my tracker build for my 48

I had plans on welding up custom pipes with a tig but it looks like the bike is destined for a new home now.
