This might be Heidi Gardner’s most crafted performances as Bailey Gismert ever. Also one of her funniest. The jibe you don’t have to work hard because you’re never in sketches is even funnier when you know that Michael Che and Colin Yost write most of their own material. Love the interaction between the two.

Idk if it’s intentional or not but the character Bailey Gismert has aged as if she is a real teenage movie critic. Her earlier appearances she was a little quieter and elementary, but as she has appeared again and again she appears to be bolder and more confident and older. Almost as if she was 14 in the earlier appearances and now this appearance she was like 17. I think it’s cool to see the progression of a character as if they’re aging in real life, especially on update-considering it’s what’s current and new. Either that, or Bailey as a character’s confidence has just risen having being interviewed by Michael Che multiple times in the past. Regardless, the way Heidi Gardner progresses the character Bailey Gismert as real time goes on is really stellar. She’s hella talented and I’m glad she’s on the show
