I can’t get enough of this song. Heard it several times before my husband and I attended the temple last week for the first time in 11 years. Since then, I’ve heard it in my dreams, when I first wake up and sometimes throughout the day. My heart is full of gratitude for this majestic and loving song of our Savior Jesus Christ. ❤🕊️
See the beauty of the morning Gods own son will soon be here. See the brightness in the heavens Jesus will return in glory. Praise the name of our Redeemer give glory to our God it is Christ our burdens carry my our hearts be meek and low. With a bow above his head for this is the Christ the prophets have said. He will come to heal the broken hearted that a new life might be started. Let us kneel before our risen Lord and with our voices may we sing with one accord.
President James E. Faust composed this song, and I think this would have included in the Church hymnbook. Everytime the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square performed this hymn, it brings so much tears in my eyes. Thank you for uploading this very quickly.
It's not a 4 part harmony, putting it in the hymnal is the wrong place. The degree of difficulty for the average ward or stake or their choir is over our ability.

Brother Wilberg is a genius at “arraignment”. This rendition is is heavenly in every respect! (The same can be said for his arraignment of ‘I Believe in Christ’.
I didnt get to watch Saturday sessions so maybe I was extra hungry for the spirit come Sunday, but this performance was sweet for me. I loved this performance of "This is the Christ". There have been a few times in my choir days where the spirit of what I was singing poured out in tears... and I can not think of another time that I saw Mormon Tabernacle choir members visably moved to tears. I loved this.

I'm not sure about that, it's too long with different parts and key changes, unless they simplify it.
It is a sacred, choral song, not a hymn.
