We are so thankful that we got to visit one of our dream places a bit less than a year ago. We are fully aware of the hurricanes that are still destroying this beautiful country and our hearts are with the people in the Bahamas.
With this video we want to encourage people to still go to the Bahamas. They are very dependent on tourism so the most direct way to help the country rebuild is to go visit, if you can.
We flew into Nassau, spent a night there and then got on a boat with our friend David - check him on Instagram / davidlangloiss
Spent 4 days on boat, visited Eleuthera Pig Island (which is less known and not crowded at all), Harbour Island ( Pink beach) and some little islands around that area.
On September 1, the eye of Hurricane Dorian made landfall on the Abaco Islands with maximum sustained winds of 185 mph (295 km/h), making it the strongest hurricane on record to affect the Bahamas. On September 2, the eye of Dorian moved over the eastern end of Grand Bahama Island, and drifted across the island.
Pray for the BAHAMAS.
