    CENTRIFUGAL DISC FINISHING UNITS
    FOR INTENSIVE MASS FINISHING
Perfectly suited to removing heavy burrs and for rounding edges on small and medium workpieces, Turbotron centrifugal disc finishing units have an abrasive action that is ten times stronger than that of circular vibrators, making them particularly efficient. Processing your workpieces in the centrifugal force tank can save both time and costs. Special process methods also enable fine finishing and polishing.
    HIGH ENERGY DISC SYSTEMS
Centrifugal disc finishing for increased efficiency
High-energy disc machines offer an efficient alternative to conventional vibratory machines, providing performance levels of up to 10 to 30 times higher than conventional vibratory equipment. Our wide range of machine sizes and varying levels of automation, offer solutions to any kind of finishing problem.
    Double-batch system
Inovatec has revolutionized the industry with our high-productivity "Double Batch" system and reliable precision gap control features automatically or manually operated.
Series E high energy disc systems
This series is the compact version that is used both with or without external separation equipment, in the modular system. Both part against part machining or single part treatment with direct work piece removal from the work container are possible, in addition to the use of an additional screening machine. The modular system is well suited for individual machining tasks. Even difficult separating tasks can be solved with a screening machine that is decoupled from the high energy disc system.
Series E/SM and E/SA high energy disc systems
These series link the machining unit directly to the work piece separation device. This makes the system particularly user friendly. The processing media remain within the system after being separated from the work pieces. The combined working-separating unit swivels back, motor-driven, into the working position after the separating process and the processing medium thereby returns to the working container - ready for the next charge.
Series E-A high energy disc system
The concept of the E-A high energy disc system is an automated workflow in a compact design. This system technology can be ideally linked with automated work piece loading and drying systems.
    TROWAL SURFACE FINISHING

    CENTRIFUGAL DISK FINISHING SYSTEMS TT…-A/2C
    TOP PERFORMANCE
Compared to vibratory surface fi nishing equipment, the Trowal Turbotron centrifugal disk fi nishing
systems offer a more than 10 times higher grinding performance. Turbotron machines are mainly
used for removal of heavy burs and edge breaking/radiusing of small to midsize mass produced parts.
However, their applications also include fi ne grinding, surface smoothing, polishing and even “high
    gloss” polishing.
    THAT’S HOW IT WORKS
The centrifugal force of the rotating spinner (60 - 250 RPM) accelerates the media/work piece mass
and pushes it up the inner wall of the stationary work bowl. With the diminishing kinetic energy
gravity forces the media and parts to slide back onto the rotating spinner where the centrifugal force
    accelerates them again.
    THE DOUBLE BATCH PRINCIPLE
While the system separates a fi rst batch of fi nished parts from the media on an external separation
unit, a second batch of raw parts is processed in the work bowl. The parallel execution of the
fi nishing and separation function minimizes costly idle equipment times, especially during the
separation process. Double batch systems are ideally suited for automated fi nishing processes.
    ENGINEERED FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE AND
    LOW COSTS
    • Work bowl and spinner geometry allow fluid,
unobstructed movement of parts and media
    • Infi nitely adjustable water level in the work bowl for
    different process intensities
    • Variable spinner speed with frequency inverter
    • Automatic adjustment of the gap size via PLC! Gap
size is adjustable within an accuracy of 0.01 mm
    • Gap rinsing with the work bowl in unload position
prevents premature wear of spinner and work bowl
    • Anti blocking system prevents “fusing” between
    spinner and work bowl
    • Monitoring of the temperature in the gap area with
auto stop prevents damage to spinner and work
    bowl
    TANDEM SYSTEMS
The tandem version consists of two processing units
(work bowl/spinner combination) but only one
intermediate hopper and separation unit. It offers
signifi cant advantages for applications requiring long
fi nishing times but only short separation cycles: The
fi nished batches from both processing units are - one
after the other - transferred to the intermediate
hopper/screening machine for separation of the
fi nished parts from the media.
