Hi! There's really something particular special about EXO. They have incredible vocals, fantastic dance skills & stage presence plus impressive visuals. Being so diverse (each member has his own sound), the group's harmonies & vocal range are extremely good. Whatever EXO does, whether on live stage or studio, are always masterful & of excellent quality. EXO may have been inactive as a group due to conscription but, amazingly, they maintain their popularity & continue to influence new gen of Kpop. Thanks.
EXO's live performances always have this extra sprinkling of flavor; it's very much like they feed off the energy and response of the fans!~ They're great in music videos, but imo if you wanna see them at their best you have to see them in front of an audience^.^ They also tend to change the way they attack certain songs live over the years. Example: Growl in music video/studio is different from the lives (especially depending on if it's EXO-K, EXO-M, ot12, etc), but it has also changed over the years; like the Growl from their ElyXiOn concert is very different from the original studio~ 4:04 The member I think you're talking about is Suho, the leader. I think you'd find his solo stuff interesting for a kpop idol~ He does a blend of pop and rock with a lean towards band music, especially for his newest album Grey Suit (particularly I'd recommend his song Hurdle for you to react to, if you haven't already)^.^ For promotions for Grey Suit he picked musicians (mostly from social media that he found) and formed "Suho Band", who performed on stage with him^.^ He also made sure that even during his very limited promotions for his first album Self Portrait that he had lives of the song with a live band. Speaking of live bands, for an entire tour, one of EXO's subunits EXO-CBX used a live band on stage~~^.^

Yes, they're really good live. Thanks for this reaction. Not group related, but the first guy whos adlibs you pointed out - Suho. He is the leader and they call him "the human harp", because of his smooth and angelic voice and vocal delivery. But the most interesting part is that with the release of his 2nd ep he has formed his own rock band called SB and they have some perfomances on festivals in South Korea and other countries. All EXO members are very talented and charismatic artists who shine bright individually and also in the group. Once again thank you! I hope you'll enjoy EXO in future too.

If you want to see live vocals, please react to their live concerts in Seoul. Less production but very clear live vocals. Japan concerts have more production and better camera works. You have to be careful reacting to Japan ones as they usually get blocked so that's why most reactors will react to EXO's live concert performances in Seoul.
Waiting for your next EXO reaction especially the MAMA + Monster+ Wolf Japan performance. Just add precautionary measures to avoid it getting block. But EXO lives are on another level since they don't just deliver a sure fire performance but the quality and the level of energy plus their stages are also not so ordinary and your 3 hrs entertainment experience will never be the same. I've watch a lot of live performances from since Eagles, Queen, Air Supply etc. and newer generation, Only EXO pulled out a show on a different level. They can perform different genres divided into different segments of the concert. Whatever mood you have, they have a song that could fit in. To be fair, EXO is an SM group, so they learned how to be live performers from their SM seniors, such as TVXQ, Super Junior and SHINee, who are all known for being the ones to set the standard when it comes to live performances. EXO are just living up to the example their senior artists created and set. When you take into consideration all the artists under SM, EXO aren't that unique. They are amazing vocalists, dancers, rappers, performers, etc. but that's because that's SM's standard and that's how SM trains their artists. Because in music shows there is usually heavy backtrack, i would recommend you to watch concert live performances. There is minimum backtrack and you can hear everything from their mics. It is an iconic performance which got them a promotional partnership with Disney for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens SK promotion. You'll see!
This was a comeback stage. It says KBS on it, there are also some from SBS, and Mnet. All of these are at risk of being blocked. They are property of the TV stations, and they get cranky when people react to them. Your best bet for reactions to live performances are any that are not affiliated to a TV station in any way (they always say KBS, SBS or whatever the heck station it is), and anything that is NOT performed in Japan. There are a few exceptions to this, but normally Japan performances get blocked and copyright strikes. Japan has very strict copyright laws, and they are a pain in the butt. It really sucks because the Japan performances are some of the best in terms of video quality. Although the Seoul performances always sound more "live" to me, and I love that. A good live version of Tempo was from their OxFesta performance, if you are interested in watching a more live one.

One of the reasons why RUclips blocked the video for EXO's live perfomance of "Tempo" was because it was a comeback stage performance on Music Bank, which is a music program produced by KBS, one of Korea's network TV channels. (It's similar to NBC, CBS, ABC, etc. in the U.S.) I would recommend instead of comeback stage performances that are more likely to get copyright blocks, what you should react to are concert performances. Concert performances are far less likely to give you copyright issues. It's good that you avoided watching an M Countdown comeback stage, but all comeback stages are pretty risky to react to. And just so you know, it's best if you avoid MNet content all together, which is the network TV company that produces the music show M Countdown and the end of the year award show MAMA, etc. MNet is super strict about how their content is used and they are the TV network out of all the Korean TV networks that is most likely to cause copyright issues. However, all network TV content holds pretty tightly to their copyrights. I know several YT channels that have been removed without warning because they did too many reactions to comeback stage performances. Just something to be careful of.
There's a lot of talented Kpop artists, and while BTS is my absolute favorite, EXO is definitely at the top of the list as well. I've watched so many of their live concerts and they're level of talent is crazy! These guys can saannnng! From their group stuff to their solos...just wow! This is one of my favorites because of the breakdown. That part is so r&b and soulful to me. Reminds me of some of the great Motown groups or even acapella gospel groups, such as Take 6. This song never gets old!

It is my understanding, and others will most definitely correct me if I'm wrong, that SM Entertainment trains their performers to be able to sing and dance at the same time, allowing them to do both without the added exertion affecting their vocal performance too much. SHINee and Taemin solo are other examples of this.
EXO is not just a king of kpop but also vocal kings, also individually successful soloist, so why ask, if they can sing live? Because in music shows there is usually heavy backtrack, i would recommend you to watch concert live performances. There is minimum backtrack and you can hear everything from their mics. Top tier group. Thank you for reacting to Exo again. I would recommend El Dorado (only live) next. It is an iconic performance which got them a promotional partnership with Disney for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens SK promotion. You'll see!

This was a comeback stage. It says KBS on it, there are also some from SBS, and Mnet. All of these are at risk of being blocked. They are property of the TV stations, and they get cranky when people react to them. Your best bet for reactions to live performances are any that are not affiliated to a TV station in any way (they always say KBS, SBS or whatever the heck station it is), and anything that is NOT performed in Japan. There are a few exceptions to this, but normally Japan performances get blocked and copyright strikes. Japan has very strict copyright laws, and they are a pain in the butt. It really sucks because the Japan performances are some of the best in terms of video quality. Although the Seoul performances always sound more "live" to me, and I love that. A good live version of Tempo was from their OxFesta performance, if you are interested in watching a more live one.

One of the reasons why RUclips blocked the video for EXO's live perfomance of "Tempo" was because it was a comeback stage performance on Music Bank, which is a music program produced by KBS, one of Korea's network TV channels. (It's similar to NBC, CBS, ABC, etc. in the U.S.) I would recommend instead of comeback stage performances that are more likely to get copyright blocks, what you should react to are concert performances. Concert performances are far less likely to give you copyright issues. It's good that you avoided watching an M Countdown comeback stage, but all comeback stages are pretty risky to react to. And just so you know, it's best if you avoid MNet content all together, which is the network TV company that produces the music show M Countdown and the end of the year award show MAMA, etc. MNet is super strict about how their content is used and they are the TV network out of all the Korean TV networks that is most likely to cause copyright issues. However, all network TV content holds pretty tightly to their copyrights. I know several YT channels that have been removed without warning because they did too many reactions to comeback stage performances. Just something to be careful of.
There's a lot of talented Kpop artists, and while BTS is my absolute favorite, EXO is definitely at the top of the list as well. I've watched so many of their live concerts and they're level of talent is crazy! These guys can saannnng! From their group stuff to their solos...just wow!
This is one of my favorites because of the breakdown. That part is so r&b and soulful to me. Reminds me of some of the great Motown groups or even acapella gospel groups, such as Take 6. This song never gets old!

It is my understanding, and others will most definitely correct me if I'm wrong, that SM Entertainment trains their performers to be able to sing and dance at the same time, allowing them to do both without the added exertion affecting their vocal performance too much. SHINee and Taemin solo are other examples of this.
