Good turnout with hundreds of scooters riding down the prom for the grand parade. Soul/Ska/Two Tone sounds. Custom scooter show, Scooter parts/accessories/clothing market.

The Mods are Back
Hundreds of scooters descended on Morecambe for the scooter rally.
Morecambe Rides Again was organised by the First Kick Scooter Collective and was a celebration of scootering history.
The event attracted hundreds of scooterists from all over the country, some of whom took part in a scooter ride in along the promenade.
Organiser Mark Dugan said: “We sold just shy of 700 wristbands but I can’t say how many scooterists just came for the day, it must be more than that. There were 160 to 170 in the ride-on along the promenade, which was packed with people videoing and taking photos.

Cool video, loved it! There was a guy in 'The Rakes' (Epping) that had the 15 million lights (as a couple of bikes shown here). The Police nicked him for 'no lights'. None of them actually worked.

F me I did think 🤔 it was only me, I stopped going to rallys cos of it, rather go c f steps than put up with it
I've never really understood the combat trousers and bomber jacket 'uniform.' I think that it looks rather thuggish, when set alongside the elegant lines of a scooter.
Scooter Boys. Born out of the Mod Revival Movement. Normally a Rally going scooterist who for practicle reasons wore these as a choice. The Scooter was 1st then the clothes and music. :) Keep the Faith Chum!
Your uniform is yours to invent none of this would of cane about only for young men and women took the steps to brake out of the social norm.
We are all mods but still individuals
Personally my uniform in a good parka and adidas sambas .
To young to remember but young enough to learn.
Wish I lived in those real times

If you dont have mirrors bubble screen an back rack and if you wear a full face helmet you should not ride out
The little vespa mopeds shouldnt be allowed at rallys, thats like bringing a honda 50 to a Harley Davidson show
Scooters are OK for short trips and best left standard, I hate the ones with loads of mirrors or lamps stuck on the front or those stupid pretentious murals on the panels.

your right mate , i built a LI , but put a 225 mugello in it . used to ride to holland , france , and all over england on it . bloody killed my arse , still got it....... but going to get one of those Royal Alloy 300s if i want to ride far now ....... and the lights and mirrors are ' pony'...... remember chrome dont get you home !
