Some of you may no know this, but I had a clothing line a few years ago called TUC+WES. And one of my favorite pieces were these Limited Edition and One of a Kind bodysuits made from vintage tees!
It was a really popular style for me and I figures, I could show you how to make it!
This IS a sewing project but a beginner can totally tackle this one.
I love bodysuits, especially when I'm wearing a skirt or tight pants so that there's no shirt bunched up in the waist. It Cretes a beautiful clean line.
MATERIALS
Graphic Tee
Tank top for top pattern
Bodysuit or underwear for bottom pattern
Sewing Machine

I have watched about 15 tutorials on how to do this bodysuit.most used undies stitched on a tank. This is literally the exact look I was after. Seamless look. Thanks

One of the best DIYs I’ve seen in 5 yrs! Girl, you need to open a shop! People like me, who can’t sew, would happily bring it to your shop and have you do it. I can also see people who can sew, but don’t have the time or desire, bring in a shit-ton of shirts to be made for themselves, or as gifts!
Really glad this top fits your form/shape without being uber tight! And it’s a real material! Not that stretchy, fake, awful skin tight show every lump and bump crap. If I wore a body suit I would want cotton tees exactly like you did and a nice fit without smushing flesh together lol
LOVE THIS 😩 my husband is going to be so mad at the amount of thrifting that I’m going to do. So many DIYs i have to try.

I’m so glad I found this tutorial. I have a minidress that’s too short for me since I gained a little weight and I don’t wanna part with it. Now I found a way to upcycle and still hang onto it.
