FINALLY!!! And thank you (a MILLION times!!) as this is something that I've wanted to do on many occasions, previously without any success. I have just recently bought a (refurbished) Samsung S20 Ultra and, following your instructions (including the part where you have to access that "media screen" which, on my phone shows as "media output" on the initial screen, it worked PERFECTLY on 2 different bluetooth headphones!!
How you managed to work this one out, I realy don't know (unless maybe you work for Samsung - LOL!) but, once again, it's a huge THANK YOU!!

Yeah its so weird... I have Samsung A71 and I lost a left earbud from one set, and my other set I lost my right ear bud. The brand is JLabs. No way I can play music in both ear buds, it just picks one ear bud. My dad paid like 1000 for that phone like 3 years ago and it does not have dual audio like what! One time I some how glitched it to where, they did both play, but they were like 2 seconds apart from each other. My gut feeling tells me if they really wanted to program that feature to my phone with an update they could, but for whatever reason they do not. But when I graduate next spring hopefully I'll just buy my own real Samsung earbuds, and if I ever lose one, at least you can pair lost ones with a new one. And hopefully I'll have my own money and better learn how to not lose 1 ear bud from each pair. LOL. Maybe when I get a phone upgrade, maybe I can reuse these 2 earbuds LOL.

Surprise to say this works on two airpods in 2024, the second method though. You have to swipe down and select media output

He means you will see a Media Output button click it and you'll see the other BT option. ✔️ both boxs and play. If you ask me there is a lil lag between the both but this is what Samsung delivers over other brands of phones.
Works great if you have a big home streaming music from the kitchen to the pool area out back speaker's instead of having to entertain both in house and out back from two different sources . All from the same device wile still cooking is a DJ Mom/Dad dream of running 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ back and forth trying to entertain guests with at home music of your choice.
