SIACHEN is not a dream it's a security issue and is sitting in SIACHEN GLACIER since 1984 until now and PAKISTAN couldn't unseat INDIA until now. SIACHEN GLACIER wasn't partitioned properly and it didn't belong to PAKISTAN or INDIA. However, INDIA saw the strategic importance and took full control over it in 1984 and until now.

Siachen standings is an ego issue wtf? Geopolitics is not that easy to dumb it down to ego. Thing is Siachen is a very strategic location to counter both Pakistan and China. It's not like two nuclear countries listen to this podcast and say OK we are friends now let's trust each other from now.
I think it was the other way round. Pakistan tried to first reach Siachen and Indian army got to know about this from the UK company that Pakistanis have purchased high altitude gears and so Indians rushed to Siachen before Pakistani reached there.

When they "ATTACKED" independent Kashmir it is even documented in UN that they were Pakistani army dressed as Mujahideen. everything was started then and there only. India army didn't even enter Kashmir until the king of Kashmir signed a treaty of annexation with india. Even when you keep on talking about UN solutions, Un the three point solution offered by UN first point is Pakistani army should vacate the kashmiri land captured forcefully by them. 2nd point is when Pakistani army vacates indian army should vacate the valley and only keep the force necessary for the security of state. Third is plebiscite. All is your fault you attacked an independent country first and now cry for their independence.

As an Indian I'm very appalled at the insensitivity of Indians towards our own soldiers. Siachen is in fact a senseless war. It's an inhabitable place. Even breathing is hard without oxygen mask. If there can be a solution with govt talks so that there won't be a need of posting a soldier there, it would be much better than having our own people live a hellish life.

When Indian army got to know about it, they buy the left over equipment. After that they anticipate the Pakistanis army is about to launch expedition in Siachen, according they launch expedition in advance. Now at present I don't know about Pakistan but Indian army get there equipment from India.
What you are referring to was true in 1984 when both the Pakistani and Indian Army bought their winter warfare gear from Europe. But, this is 2023. When India can send a spacecraft to Mars, cant we make winter warfare gear in India? Do some homework, guys!
