No surprise there at all. Not only is Mr. Rogers one of the talented people ever, I had the pleasure of meeting him some years back and we hung out for a few. When I tell you great person, down to earth and funny he is. We ended becoming friend on FB. Love this man!
my brother and i introduced a lot of these grooves in our club days in the 80's in sydney. "shout for joy" was actually by 2 guys called DUNN & BRUCE STREET ('82) & the album was called "official business". DUNN also wrote and produced another song called "groove your blues away" and the group was called AMUZEMENT PARK ('82). there is plenty of grooves in our collection and we are deciding what to do with them when i get through converting them to cd.

Post Disc but pre House. This is what we was listening to in London's clubs back in the day, 1980-1986 pure club jams. Best times before house music took over & dominated for the next 20 years. Then it all went to shit after that.
