Cam Newton in Super Bowl 50: 265 passing yards, 1 pick, 45 rushing yards, 55.4 passer rating, 6 sacks, and 2 fumbles
the Broncos pass rush got to Cam all day and his 2 fumbles lead to 1 defensive td and a Broncos possession that started in the red zone for another td totaling 15 points off Cam's fumbles as the broncos went for 2 on one of them. Cam also hesitated to go after his second fumble with the panthers only down 1 score.
the panthers defense did a great job on the broncos with Peyton Manning getting sacked 5 times in one of his worst individual games of his career.

Bro honestly that would be a goated team like honestly Aqib Talib TJ Ward Chris Harris Junior Von Miller Derek Wolfe nothing was like them and then you have Demaryius Thomas Emmanuel Sanders so goated it’s sad that teams don’t last that long. The only good players you have on the Broncos today is Von Miller and Bradley Chubb I feel Courtland Sutton could be a good wide receiver but I don’t know about Teddy Bridgewater he did fucking great today but quarterbacks that bounce around from team to team you can’t trust him
The Broncos had the best offense in the NFL that year. Can you imagine if they had the best defense in the NFL as well, the 2015 defense, that team would've absolutely won the Super bowl that year but remember that 2013 season, the Seahawks had the best defense in football. That 2013 Seahawks defense was the modern version of the 1985 Bears defense and the Steelers defenses from 70's. The Broncos faced them in the Superbowl and got annihilated 43-8. Roughly 2 years later, the Broncos had the EXACT same defense and went to the Superbowl and beat the Panthers 24-10.
@AlbertV90 it's not entirely fair though the Seahawks didn't face a prime 2013 broncos team the 2012 broncos were a much complete team considering Chris Harris and von miller nor was derek wolfe not there for the superbowl and they had just released elvis dumervil, as far as the offense they had 3rd strings in on the offensive line and that Seahawks d line ate it up, non the less nothing you can do but those missing pieces made us lose a potentially great game

They were only down by 6 and Newton jumped away front the fumble and gave it away.
The hits to the head on Newton before the fumble were ridiculous. Vonn Miller lined up in the neutral zone all game. The Jerrico catch was a catch . Clete, Blakeman‘s wife, was in full Denver Broncos gear and in Roger Goodell‘s box. It’s all that needs to be said. One of the most rigged Super Bowls in history.

That's what people like to blame Cam for lol. No offense to the wr but to have no line and no receiving threats against one of the best defenses I've seen in my lifetime live was unbeatable. I known in the first quarter Denver had that game. One thing to see something and give credit then to be a hater or blame someone that you barely watch on a team that isn't yours is just stupid lol then again we found out the majority who watch football 😂😂

They are alike because cam and Patrick were both getting pancaked by the defense all game. They both had no good receivers. Travis was the only good one catching. Cam had nobody to catch. He threw straight dots just like Patrick and nobody could catch in either SB 50 or 55.
If you know football you can’t watch this and still blame Cam. Out of the whole video only 2 plays were his fault. The oline was getting beat to sleep every play and the WR’s couldn’t get open fast enough in man coverage. Micheal Oher was so terrible I don’t even see how they made a movie about him.
As a Commanders fan I'm not going to lie I couldn't stand the 2015 panthers all the dancing and dabbing just pissed me off this game really made me happy. Great game 👍👍

Proof that a combo of great Dline and Oline can win a SB pretty easily actually if they get an aging superstar QB, like Peyton was here. Thats a better choice than having some young phenom like Cam here for example.
Also this and Tom Brady superbowls proove that it is more than possible for a 35+ year QB to go ahead and grab himself one or two at the end of his career...... Rodgers should be paying close attention and choose his next team wisely.

Cam didn't have all the help Purdy has If you actually watch closely he was darting those passes straight to his receivers but they were dropping the passes or getting held .. Cam even got hit in the head before the fumble but they didn't call a flag
