This is hugely map dependent and it takes so much time to eat trees to start mining. it will be at least an ancient of war worth of gold mining to eat enough trees to put it somewhere "safe", that in addition, will make it vulnerable to air attacks.
@@alexch3618 it wouldnt be like "safe" it should be in theory impossible to take down with one or two tanks. since the gold mine is invulnerable, they can only go through the two side choke holds or attack the intangled mine. so if you put two units like archers / druid of the talons to stand there, the tanks cant reach. and have some uproot AOWs attacking. The argument of having the tree walking losing out on gold is much less gold than having to rebuild a tree and lost income?
