Right, you drove under the speed limits ;) Very beautiful storms! I have the same philosophy as you: even if there's nothing "interesting", the beautiful view of plain supercells are still worth every driven miles. Beautiful tornado at the end, Nebraska never fails to produce lovely tornadoes. Hopefully we will have some views of the rest of the trip quite quickly 😄
What’s crazy is that this was only the beginning of my trip, it’s about to get a whole lot crazier including another tornado intercept even closer then this one!
Absolutely beautiful tornado! The photogenic storms were worth it because of how amazing the lightning was. But overall, the north bend tornado really turned it around! Keep chasing, Celton!
That’s so cool that you chased one in Nebraska! I live in Omaha Nebraska near elkhorn and this is really cool to me. Wish you could have seen the monster that hit elkhorn on April 26, 2024. It was 1,900 yards wide and destroyed part of elkhorn. Luckily no one was hurt.
Excellent footage - that was one hell of a twister. Great production as well. Glad to see you were keeping your situational awareness after what happened with Chris. (RIP Prius)
@@nastytime4507 it can be dangerous if you put yourself in a dangerous situation but if you know the mechanics of how storms work you can be relatively safe storm chasing
Oof! I would love to see a tornado (in the wild, away from where it can harm anyone, of course). I live in the UK so we don't really get big or frequent tornadic events here, though a funnel cloud did meander through my town a couple of years ago and would you know it? I missed it as I was on the wrong side of the house. *facepalms*

Thanks man, the footage only gets crazier from here. I even managed to capture some massive Red Sprites later on :)
Absolutely beautiful, I'm looking forward to more footage from the season. This is why I said I'm happy to wait while you get footage.

I appreciate that, and yeah Chris takes things more carefully now, it’s something we keep as a priority when we chase together from May through June.

amazing!
i wish i had ur job
Wow
So you guys are disappointed if a storm doesn't produce a dangerous tornado ?
the vast majority of tornadoes only damage grass and trees without destroying anyone's homes.
@@theturdflinger But it's still a gamble ,with very high stakes .Isn't it ?
@@nastytime4507 it can be dangerous if you put yourself in a dangerous situation but if you know the mechanics of how storms work you can be relatively safe storm chasing
@theturdflinger407 How about the people caught in the path with no escape , are they relatively safe?
@theturdflinger407 All I'm saying is that storm chasing should be a necessity, not just for kicks.
Hey I'm second not trying to be all IM SECOND IM BETTEr just suprised
I like the synthwave
What tornado app is that called?
What a fun video! Can't wait to see some of the footage from our trips overlapped!
Next chase video will probably cover that period of time ;)
Great chase!
