This is so helpful! You're a lot like me with the planning! I put my plans in plastic sleeves and on my bedroom wall. I have personal learning goals there. I have homeschool whole-family field trips and whole-family lesson plans there. I have homeschool teacher prep goals there. I have 3 month master to-do list there (this includes items including "declutter kitchen cupboard #1" and "prune fruit trees.")
Absolutely! I’m gonna share a video with you that has details on it, though I do plan to do a video on my rewards system in the future! ruclips.net/video/EMdkkzGwqh0/видео.html
I love that you set up your own notebook for a planner! I'm someone who needs a litttttle more structure because my imagination doesn't work enough for my to make up my own layout 😅 So I use the Rad and Happy planner. Love how minimalistic yours is. I also do a combination of forward and backward planning, some days I can't get myself to plan out a week's worth and just write down what we accomplished each day.
Haha I hear you, it is great to find a planner that lays it all out for you! I dream of making my own planner like that so I don't have to create new layouts every week. Forwards and backwards planning has been soooo good for me, and I hear you on not feeling like you want to plan a work's worth sometimes, I definitely have those weeks too! That's why I love having both, it's very forgiving!
Very organized, detailed and efficient! Great for the children to learn while young so it is easy for them to do it when they become adults on their own as they will always remember mom set the standard for them! Love this! Blessings❤️🙏
Hola! I'm using a teacher planner from Apologia this year, but i love the way yours is laid out too. We are also doing reverse planning, and jotting down what's covered once it is done. There is an expectation, but if I doesn't get done, there's no stress this way, it just get pushed. You are making me rethink my LA choice because Foundations looks sooo great!
Hi mama! I’ll have to look up that planner, I didn’t realize they sold planners! Gotta love backwards planning😁👍. Logic of English has been such a wonderful curriculum for us! What are you using now?
@@mama-yael We are using Abeka this year, it's what our girls got exposed to at Christian Private School last year, and it's what taught them to read so I decided to stick to what they already knew as we transition to homeschool. But I don't know that I'll be sticking to it forever, as I keep discovering better things!
@@GardenMinistry. oh that’s great! I think that’s the curriculum I had as a kid in private school! Yeah, sometimes kids’ needs change and other times, you discover something that’s better. 😊👍
Hey 👋🏼! I got my notebook from Homesense I believe. I stopped posting mainly because I stopped homeschooling and work picked up😕. I’ve thought about coming back and doing videos about home learning but not sure. I’m glad you enjoy my videos ☺️

I am an Alfie Kohn fan, so I have no rewards system.
That’s wonderful! And thank you 😊
I'd love a show & tell version of this video :)
The brain dump idea sounds so therapeutic--getting everything out so you don't have to think about it too deeply. ❤️
Seriously, it’s awesome!!!
LK1 Daddy 👍🏾🤩🌞 Sunkissed Friday !
😊👍
Love some more info on your reward/token system! Thanks for the video super helpful 🤩

Thank you so much for that kind comment! I’m certainly not perfect at this, but I do my best 😊👍.
Beautiful handwriting! Loved hearing about your planning system. Thank you!
Thank you, Kate! I’m so thankful for how this system has been working out so far.
This was so helpful, thank you! ❤
I'm so glad to hear that, you're welcome 😊.

A little random, but what kind of pens were used for this video? They seem great.
😂 no worries, they are sigma pens 👍.
Would love to see more of how you set up your planning note book. I have tried many planners that just do not work.
Hi Taylor! I’d be happy to do that!
@@mama-yael That would be such a blessing!
I second this, do you have a video about your planner? I need to see more :
Where do you get your notebook and why aren’t you posting anymore. I really enjoy your videos!

You're welcome! 😊👍
You are so pretty with the prettiest hair.
Why thank you!
Thank you for this video. What note book are you using?
Hi Taylor! It’s the brand Fringe. I normally get them for Home Sense or Marshall’s Home Goods.
Thank you!
😊
Did you make a planner I can buy?
Wish I could say yes 😩. I currently don’t have one.
