Love this syntax without classes. Hope the Angular team considers it for signal components

Personally, I would not want Angular to become another version of React (where using classes are almost frowned upon these days). I love all my component and services classes in Angular. Sure, I do build a big enterprise application, which is somewhat stereotypical for it, but nevertheless, I just really enjoy them and find theme highly readable. :)

I don't think it will ever become another version of React. I think they'll keep doing what they've been doing, which is take ideas from other frameworks and make them work in the best way for Angular.

Cool stuff - I've been working a bit in Vue 3, and I love that format, too. It would be a good step if we could just make standalone the default for a project - wait, is there a setting for that? But yeah, so much better just having a script and style block, along with the template.

Yea, I think they are trying to keep all the existing material out there somewhat valid by not making standalone the internal default. Hopefully in v18/v19
