Hi Chris and Danya, Thanks for your amazing video and so glad you got to enjoy the walk, it's a beautiful place and good on ya Danya for giving the hut a clean up. Just an important note for anyone else looking to do the walk, it's best to do it when there hasn't been much rain for a couple of days at least. Then if you arrive at the first river crossing at low tide it should be possible to cross the river in a saloon car unless there's been heavy rain to wash out the river bed, this makes it possible to drive to the end of the road, Always check the depth of water first though. By starting the walk at low tide or a bit after, all the river crossings are made on the beach itself and you can walk on sand all the time and not the very dangerous slippery rocks. There will be very little flow of water in the rivers and you shouldn't even get your socks wet! When we did it there was a storm due later the next day, so I saved the route on my GPS so we could walk out at 3.30am, which was the next low tide and follow our exact route back in the dark Enjoy the back country of NZ and always carry a PLB for your own safety.

Adventurous start across the river!/due to the tides,,/A beautiful rainbow arched over her,as you can see even better with your own video.😊The row of curious cows beautifully decorated the meadow!😊The seagrasses waved like hair in that wind.😊The New Zealand landscape with flora and fauna is really gorgeous.😊You have overcome many obstacles together, I keep my fingers crossed for you! Enjoy traveling through nature in good health. Thank you,Chris and Danya.❤

I got to the first river and camped 2018 and wondered what was beyond, thank you. At Takaka Informtion centre there was a young maori women who's relations farm across the river. It would be a good place to do a tourist adventure once known about.
